So if profits rose by x% and stocks rose y% what amount did wages for workers increase????? Or considering the weak dollar is a 25% increase really a decrease??

Intel needs no saving… its crap AMD that needs help filing chapter 11… just start making cell phone cpu’s and leave the real stuff to the masters of the chip!… and its good to see the chip tax on pringles go away in the UK… wow taxes in other country’s really suck

Ha I got an HP notebook Dv2620 running vista ultimate 64 on 2 gigs of ram. With an AMD 64 x2 3rd year engineering student. Though it is not mandatory…most assignments are done with a computer… giving those who own a laptop a clear advantage.

@5: I agree, and considering most of them offer a “reduced price” for one of the laptops from their suppliers, and most likely, those have intel chips vs amd.

The reason for this, most collages and uni’s are making it mandatory, in some programs, to purchase a laptop. So boom, there goes the profit, because you now have tons of students that have to buy one, that wouldnt of really purchased one in the first place.
