From a usability standpoint, opening links in the current window is preferred over forcing the link to open in a new window/tab.

Don't change a thing.

don't forget to add the wattage for the memory controller, which is on average about 22 watts.

cpus don't work without memory controllers.... amd's numbers include that in since it's built into the cpu die but intel likes to omit it.

so that's AT LEAST 82 watts.

Be weary...

Intel measures their TDP under "general use" situation. Typically, its 80% of the actual max. So expect it to be more like 60W. (Which is pretty darn good for a quad-core).

AMD on the other hand, measures MAX TDP and advertises that. In reality, its actually alot lower, as no one actually maxes out their CPUs completely and continuously.

Karl, (author of article), hints this. But I thought I should clarify for those who don't know.

Hm..
This is just a general question.
Does rlslog have some damn irritating ads from pcturbopro.com?
Very irritating when there popups a window, which make rlslog go away and u enter their homepage with several other popups u have to click cancel to, before be able to go back to rlslog?
Or maybe I just got a adware... But dont think so, only happends on this site and some other "strange"-site.
