We don’t usually cover French cinematography but there are certain movies which deserves a little bit of attention and we also know many people love this site exactly because we present you a wider choice of films, not only those Hollywood blockbusters. Inside Paris (”Dans Paris” in original) is quite similar to recently covered 2 Days in Paris, but it focuses more on a relationships between son and father and also two brothers. The acting of two main characters is quite impressive and Inside Paris also succeeded in Cannes. Expect French audio with attached English subtitles.

Anna has just left Paul who, annihilated by the separation, moves back with his father in Paris. His younger brother Jonathan, a casual student, still lives in his father’s apartment and spends most of his time womanizing and fooling around. But what this apparent lightness conceals is a deep wound. Jonathan, in fact, has never been able to overcome the death of his beloved sister. Meanwhile Paul sinks into depression…

    2 Days in Paris is a crap movie, ive got it at xmas. its just about a girl which cheat her boyfriend before and while they are a couple.
    sumary: this couple stay together cause they wont change partner…

    Agreed! I do still come to this site for movies that are off the beaten trail…we don’t all love Transformers.

    I wasn’t particularly thrilled with the uneven “He was a Quiet Man” (particularly with Elisha Cuthbert’s wooden performance, despite her looks), but I’m glad it was made available.

    Keep up the good work. This site kicks butt.

    this is a very good movie, i have been waiting for english subtitles for a good half year.
    as 22 states, not all of us only watch the most mainstream movies released, i love this site for the reason that they post limited releases and movies i have never heard of, broaden your horizon people.

    I can almost see a pttern here… maybe the next is “Very near to Paris” which “is quite similar to recently covered 2 Days in Paris, but focuses more on a relationships between” to in-laws and 2 g4y men who think they are actually lesb1ans…. Or maybe “9 1/2 weeeks in Paris”…
