Inglourious Basterds SCR XViD-xSCR

Group xSCR released the SCR version of the movie “Inglourious Basterds”, which is a 2009 war film written and directed by Quentin Tarantino. The film, set in German-occupied France, tells the story of two plots to assassinate the Nazi political leadership, one planned by a young French Jewish cinema proprietress, the other by a team of American soldiers called the “Basterds”. Size of this one is 2CD, however, xSCR seemed to not include a sample, so grab it if you want.

PLOT: In Nazi occupied France, young Jewish refugee Shosanna Dreyfus witnesses the slaughter of her family by Colonel Hans Landa. Narrowly escaping with her life, she plots her revenge several years later when German war hero Fredrick Zoller takes a rapid interest in her and arranges an illustrious movie premiere at the theater she now runs. With the promise of every major Nazi officer in attendance, the event catches the attention of the “Basterds”, a group of Jewish-American guerilla soldiers led by the ruthless Lt. Aldo Raine. As the relentless executioners advance and the conspiring young girl’s plans are set in motion, their paths will cross for a fateful evening that will shake the very annals of history.

    from screens i’ve seen, they look about the same. the SCR doesn’t look like it’s that much better, if at all.

    anyone know why an r5 never came out yet for this?

    I’ve been on the lookout for an R5 but nothing. Perhaps with the somewhat surprising box office take, they pushed an R5 release in order to send out screeners, perhaps.

    Visually, Inglourious Basterds PPV XViD-IMAGiNE looks to have slightly more contrast (if you look closely, you can see edge artifacting that probably resulted from sharpening):

    wow, is it just me, or does the quality of this release much like that of a VCD? man..i know it makes me sound dated,but i remember when that was the bulk of scene releases, i wonder if they reverted to that this year, cubes look too big for svcd

    #36, I agree, the 2nd half of the movie is pretty terrible quality to the extent where you cannot tell who is talking etc. I’d wait for a better release if you can, wont be long surely…

    This screener (if that’s what it is) has no watermarks. I agree that the quality is not up to 2CD rips, not even 1CD rips. Its not a keeper.

    Quality is terrible. You can’t even see faces halfway through. Why was this garbage released?
