Inglourious Basterds PPV XViD-IMAGiNE

IMAGiNE here with a new release for the latest QT flick “Inglourious Basterds”. This is a PPV rip so don’t expect a very clear quality rip, rather something like a SCR (which sometimes mistaken for) or a very good CAM. The quality for this is quite good but a little rough. Although the audio is very good. Check out samples for more info. I’d seen this one at the cinemas and liked it a lot. I wouldn’t say it’s Tarantino’s best work but well worth a watch, especially on the big screen. Oh, and if Christoph Waltz isn’t nominated for an Oscar, then Hollywood officially fails.

Nazi occupied France, and a young Jewish refugee Shosanna Dreyfus witnesses the slaughter of her family by Colonel Hans Landa. Narrowly escaping with her life, she plots her revenge several years later when German war hero Fredrick Zoller quickly takes an interest in her and arranges an illustrious movie premiere at the theater she now runs. With the promise of every major Nazi officer in attendance, the event catches the attention of the “Basterds”, a group of Jewish-American guerrilla soldiers led by the ruthless Lt. Aldo Raine. As the relentless executioners advance and the conspiring young girl’s plans are set in motion, their paths will cross for a fateful evening that will shake the very annals of history.

    Audio is certainly out of synch. Subs are hardcoded. Video is interlaced for some reason. If you read the nfo you’ll see they got a 700MB avi file, ran a bunch of (unknown) filters on it and then saved it as a 1GB encode. This is on par with a TS rip; nothing to write home about.

    I saw this at the cinema and was totally disappointed, with the exception of Christoph Waltz performance that should be recognised, this poor remake of a poor original is in poor taste.
    Yet again Hollywood tries to rewrite history to show the Yank’s as winning every war, hampered by their allies and partners and totally ignoring the contribution made by the European, Commonwealth, occupied countries and many others. I did not see many instances of friendly fire!
    See U-571, and in recent activity, Hurt Locker, and many others.
    I’m not ignoring the contribution made by the Americans, only I would like to see the truth, and seen without current political propaganda and bias for a historic event still in the memory of those who fought some 60 years ago.
    The movie contained many gaff’s including tram rails stopping abruptly at the pavements edge pointing towards a cinema. To Messrs Tarantino, Scott, Scott and others, try some originality rather than reworking other peoples work and cinematic creatively.

    @46: You moron. Tarantino has made it clear that this film is how HE would have wanted history to have unfolded. Basterds is not supposed to be historically accurate, or relevant to that matter, in any capacity. It’s just a movie for entertainment purposes.

    This movie is typical Tarantino. He’s like a nerdy fanfic writer that made it big.

    Would be near perfection if not for the large amount of overacting he encourages.

    @ the OutOfSync: Play the movie in vlc with an audio-delay of +100ms, and you will see, especially at the speech of Brat Pitt @ min 22, that there is a slight lag. And if this is really ppv, shouldn’t the quality a little bit better.
    Not every country has such a highly sponsored movie-production facility like the US.
    I personally like to see nazis get slaughtered. There are so many of them.
