Hi Folks. This new Indi release hit the scene some mins ago. Its a Telesync and looks actually quite watchable (if u judge from the sample). I willpersonally wait for R5 to see this movie, or go into cinema next week :)

    This is definitely watchable. I might go ahead and get it as it might be a while until a much better version comes out. From what I hear it’s a really good movie, so might just be worth watching the TS.

    I was really hoping it was Indiana Jones though, I watched Narnia-mVs and that was surprisingly pretty good. But what do i know eh? I enjoyed a pirated version of LOTR : FOTR that was mostly in black and white :)

    for anyone waiting, there won’t be an english scene release with the german source, since they write in their nfo ‘NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO USE OUR SOURCE!’. if you are looking for a version with this video source and english audio you have to go to your p2p source and search for an 1.4gb verion with english audio, only chance until another good source hits the scene.

    @186, there are rules especially for the scene. if there would be a scene release it would be nuked within seconds and the release group wich would be stupid enough to do so would have some bad reputation on their hands… anyway there is already a release with the german video source and english audio but it is p2p only and not a scene release.

    @195-dont matter if the german one is 2cd-the runtime of the movie is the same so a good syncer can easily match the english audio to it-apparently jambo is already working on it and no doubt stg will be too.

    I don’t know what’s wrong wit you noobs; anybody that’s posted anything to the scene knows how to replace the audio track with a one from a different source. I just have to spend all day waiting “103 minutes” for the f*cking CrapidShare links to give me the file!

    Warning: if you want to try it.

    AVI: Variable bitrate (VBR) audio in AVI is non-standard and you may encounter sync errors up to 8348ms when attempting to extract WAV files or processing audio in Direct Stream Copy mode. Full Processing mode is recommended to decompress the audio. (bitrate: 120.1 +/- 10.6 kbsps)

    either trainspotter is a pro or a liar. i think he is the latter yes u r right joey we do try i have tried to make the german film into 1 avi thats no problem the sync is good for first half of film then it goes out of sync. so i split the audio in two thentried to do it that way and still no good . so best of luck to you trinspotter i give up coz i have a life and cba to be bothered to mess with this anymore :)

    err stimpy-read back your posts at 15.51 you posted that this couldnt be done at all-at 16.00 you said you were trying it and at 16.10 you gave up. so in nine minutes you made the german into one file? in ten munutes you had the sound perfectly synced for half the movie then it went wrong? you are talking nonsense! so please dont claim to be one of the hard working people who try to help us all by putting in some effort!giving up after ten minutes is no effort at all and your timescales are blatant lies anyways.

    Look, this is a work day for me and I’m trying to do this on my little laptop in my “spare” time. Lets stop the name-calling. This can be done many ways. What I’m doing (right now) is using VirtualDub to re-encode BOTH the video and audio of the prevail file in FULL PROCESSING mode. I’m converting the VBR audio to 224kbs (48k) CBR with “Sync o video” enabled. Once I get that file I could stip off the audio as a wave file, and stick it right onto the German file. That file (if I ever get it) can be joined in seconds with .AVI Joiner. I was also going to send the outputed prevail file through once more and strip-off the video, leaving an audio-only .AVI that I could post for your use, as it would only be about 200MB.
