Indian Cowboy 2007 DVDRip XviD-BrG
Bollywood release group bring us an interesting comedy, Indian cowboy, a fun, sexy, irreverent romp through the conventions of hollywood and bollywood romantic comedies. And by the way this is in english. The movie is pretty short 60 minutes and starts off without any randomly so don’t be surprised. The quality is excellent as you can see from the samples. If you have some time on your hands give this a try. The trailer has me captivated. I certainly will
Featuring exciting new music by South Asian and independent American artists. A tongue-in-cheek exploration of “true love”, Indian Cowboy is a story about Nick, a young writer who wants to experience love at its most glorious, and with a decidedly happy ending. When he falls in love with Sapna, who believes that all stories of true love end in tragedy a la “Romeo and Juliet” or “Laila and Majnu,” his quest for the perfect ending to his own love story inevitably begins! Nick’s Love story heads for an ending even he can’t predict!

It is a tongue-in-cheek exploration of the idea of “true love” with a South Asian twist, playing upon both Bollywood and Hollywood Romantic Comedy conventions. Nick dreams of experiencing true love at its most glorious and with a decidedly happy ending. A cynical Sapna on the other hand believes that true love always leads to a tragic end as in Romeo & Juliet or Laila & Majnu. So when these star-crossed lovers meet and fall for each other, the quest for a mutually compatible ending to their love story begins! Featuring exciting new music by South Asian artists including Karsh Kale, Alms For Shanti, Karyshma with Falu, and Kam Dhillon.

Well done RLSLOG for the diversity of your links. Keep up the good work.
Not being funny or nothing, but this was first screened in 2004 at a film festival. Then Released 3 yrs later in February 2007 and it’s still awaiting 5 Votes.
Also Known As :
Somewhere in India USA (working title)
Somewhere in New Jersey USA (working title)
How about :
Somewhere in a Cinema, But Dont Know Where, So Could Not Rate It.
Come on Desi Mate
the last one you reviewed had a rating of 3.3/10 and this one has not even got 1 Vote and it’s been 8 months since it came out in the Cinema in the USA.
That either Tells me that Asian People dont visit Cinemas, or Asian People Thought the film was that bad that it was not worth a Vote. Or Perhaps they are not as obssesed as you are when it comes to Soft Porn Movies Called “Indian Cowboys” (Joke)
*sigh* I wish I had his hair style… NOT!!
bollywood sucks
.. wth? -__-’
tht’s all i can say. :/
I didn’t know that reviews and postings were supposed to be a popularity contest. My wife and daughters love the classic chick-flick stuff and while I could do without it, I will grab it for them.
If it hadn’t been posted here, I never would have heard of it. Seems to me that that is a a good reason to post about it … rather then something everyone heard of already.
i resent this movie
thanks Desi, I’ll check it out. looks interesting.
@Mixtrixx
That either Tells me that Asian People dont visit Cinemas, or Asian People Thought the film was that bad that it was not worth a Vote
not popular in bejing or tokyo,this movie for sure,what are you talking about
Maybe a seperate Bollywood section? Since it isn’t mainstream.
Thanks for posting movies like this. appreciate it if u guys do this on a regular basis, not everyday, but a often as can.
we need more indian-english movie up in here.
@desi
why do you release bollywood movies about which no one has heard of.
i’d appreciate ur work if you would plz release good and famous stuffs
Thanks Desi…
Waiting for more masala movie….
i’d agree with Sav (comm #11) and go with the separate section for Bollywood movies. just my 50 pence
come on now do not post Bollwood in here, bollywood is not good at all, it just sucks, dont waste your time and space posting this stuff.
I agree, another section for bollywood films would be nicer so that they do not come in the way of mainstream films. Nothing against bollywood films, i just think they should be kept seperately so those not looking for them are not bothered.
whats the point of sharing a [B grade] movie?
Listen Desi bhai, its good to see you releasing indian films. It would be nice if you don’t release every single movie that gets released by flop communities. It just ruins the bollywood reputation. Why don’t you release movies that have good rating and good story line like “Dil Dosti ETC, Johnny Gaddar”? Last time you released FEAR, that was so lame. Chak De India was good. People want to see realistic story with good direction, not some goofy flicks with un-blended songs into it. Why don’t you bring Dil Dosti ETC and see how people react to that. I think that would be a good independent film for the community. Or bring movies from past like “Satya”. Thank you.

Asian people especially india people visit cinemas more often that you could ever imagine.
Hello mr.Desi guy.stop posting desi movies here.if u cant live without posting desi movies then create a separate sub section for desi movies.
i agree with music81……
most of the bolly flicks i have seen on rlslog suck…..the good flicks never seem to make it……
post something like Bhool Bhulaiya or Dil Dosti Etc or Khosla ka Ghosla etc etc…..
would be really helpful for those who like bolly stuff….
Thanks..
Segregate Indian movies from this site please. Others have spoken.
Not many are into Bollywood stuff, if there are any please stay in forums or something, don’t pollute this site.
@9 – The point I’m trying to make is, is that for a Movie (No Matter What Country it Was Made In) to be listed on IMDB for over 3 years & 8 Months without a single vote from anyone in the world, kind of gives a slight reflection of the lack of interest the movie had generated, not only 3 yrs ago when it flopped the first time round, but again when it was released 8 months ago.
However, I’m not saying that this is a Terrible Movie, but apart from Desi’s review on the movie, (even though he’s yet to watch it) then there really is nothing positive to say about the film.
I also agree that if Bollywood Movies are posted on here, then they deserve their own Section, being as Desi is now bringing Bollywood Movies to ReleaseLog. That way everyones happy
Why post Bollywood stuff on here? I think I’m right in saying that 9/10 of us on here are not interested in Indian films at all? They suck. Big time. I can’t think of a single Bollywood film to make it the west, even as a ‘cult’ hit like some Japanese and Korean films do.
come on
listen to us.
dont post these hindi desi indian movies with mainstream.
open a new bollywood section or just dont post them anymore.
gosh darn it.
@Mixtrixx
you miss the anecdote..asian is asian,indian is indian
what we all seems to agree on is that desi is an ex-vomit scene rls groupie
and that he seems to post all the movies that did not even went on their
999 best
@25 Kaiser
No,you’re wrong.A good number of us here are interested in Bollywood films.
Bollywood films are released in the UK on a regular basis and some even make it to the UK top 10.Not all of them suck.
If you have the time,you may want to check on these bollywood movies.Some of the finest among the crap.
Dil Chahta Hai(if you haven’t watched a bollywood movie,this should be your first one)
Being Cyrus(no songs,in english,85 mins,comic thriller)—MUST WATCH!
Black Friday(no songs,docu style,based on true events)
Lagaan(3 n half hours with songs,a true masterpiece,nominated for oscar)
Once again the people who comment on here don’t know what they are talking about. This is NOT a Bollywood movie, it’s all in English and filmed in the US by an Director of Indian descent. I will admit it’s not very good because I have seen it,but most of you guys need to educate yourselves more before you comment. Desi, I would like for you to post actual Bollywood stuff too….
Its better to check dvd reviews at amazon.com for those movies.
Most of the reviewers are first time watchers of a bollywood film.
@kaiser and others,
why do you care what’s posted on here? It doesn’t slow YOUR bandwidth down and you don’t have to even look at it. If it doesn’t interest you then just go past it. There’s room for all kinds of stuff on here.
@Bolywud haters n not likers: Well, lyk everything else, there is gud n there is evil in bolywud too
So zip it. Tho even I (I’m Indian) don’t lyk (almost hate) bollywood!
@Desi:
1. Bolywud, in the west, is still NOT mainstream. So yes, there shud be a separate section for this. I hate it when some stupid post like this cuts in between.
2. I’m sorry but I have to say your posts suck. You write like you are trying to promote these lame movies. Give us an objective review.
Mixtrixx, lots of excellent movies (and not so excellent) don’t get reviews and rated because they aren’t able to be seen outside of film festivals, i.e., they don’t get picked up by an American distributor. That has nothing inherenly to do with the quality of the movie, but the perceived marketability of the film to Americans generally and in competition with other niche market and low-return films. And we all know what sells best in the States.
According to Rotten Tomatoes, running time is 84 minutes.
Martin, as much as I appreciate the effort into the site, I’m not blown away by Desi’s judgment. Quite aside from his choice of Indian (or Indian-American) movies, his “you might as well grab this” comments for subpar camera downloads is insulting. Readers can figure it out for themselves.
@32
well said
a seperate bollywood section should be cool.also desi should post only good movies and not these crap movies.
IMDB has some technical problems related to their ratings systems. The TV series Lost is one of the most popular in the world but it “apparently” hasn’t got 5 votes yet.
Quit asking Desi to post this and that movie. On rlslog they only post NEW RELEASES of either old or new movies.
This is ridiculous. In my country, you are either a comboy or an indian. You can not be both!
this movie now has a “proper”
Indian Cowboy (2007) 1CD “PROPER” DVDRIP_XviD-AbcD *ENG SUB*
it seems the BrG release is short by 24 minutes.
the proper is available at idesir.com
http://www.idesir.com/forums/showthread.php?t=127947
I hope, Desi continues to post bollywood movies. I’m a canadian that enjoys many foreign movies….hindi, japanese, german, french etc.
Portuguese Movies are very good. 1+8=9
Isn’t 4 plus 10 equal to 14?
Oh wait…
Thank you Desi and ignore the haters. I really appreciated this less known movies.
Did anybody notice that, according to the trailer, this movie is produced by “South Asians Against Piracy”?
Any chance for Rapishare links for this movie?
I think this release is incomplete
. The subtitles do not match and the runtime should be 84 mins according to http://www.dvdempire.com/Exec/v4_item.asp?userid=&item_id=1362066
Looks like 24 minutes are missing from this release.
