I usually enjoy Fantasy films, but this one seems like a really odd one to me, mostly because of the actors involved in it. Jason Statham and Ray Liotta in a fantasy film based on the Dungeon Siege video games? Can two people who had major roles in great films like “Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels”, “Snatch” and “Goodfellas” really have read this script and thought: “Wow”? A 4.2 rating on IMDB (and a 2% rating on RT) dosen’t sound too promising either. In any case, if you’re just up for some action, this is still probably crap.

Edit: After watching the trailer to this, it looks like this film has some pretty badass special effects. Might be worth a watch after all ^^

Quality: Nice and crisp video image but the audio is a cam source and is pretty echoey.

A simple family man (Jason Statham) becomes a reluctant warrior after an army of murderous beasts commanded by an evil sorcerer (Ray Liotta) ransacks his peaceful village and captures his wife (Claire Forlani). Director Uwe Boll conjures up a treacherous and magical medieval world filled with thrilling adventure, spectacular battles and warring wizards. Set against some of the most rugged and breathtaking terrain ever captured on film.

    Actually got this release a couple days ago, and tried watching on my DivX Standalone the other night, and the audio was really bad. I suggest waiting for a line audio. It just sounded so terrible. Didn’t even watch but the first five minutes. Thanks to eXtaCY though, for making it available. Don’t think there is any line audio available now, so they had to use cam.

    @9 - Thanks for the heads up! Already DL’d about 3 versions of this R5. So far - none of them worth a damn. The picture quality could almost be a rip - but as noted many times & in this thread to come, and on the CAM thread - the R5 rlse should be just be nuked until it’s fixed…

    saw tis film in cinema and it was ok, nothing special like lord of the rings but it has some nice sfx and some funny scenes. i really like statham as actor but this time he failed . he is perfect for badass roles but not for an ancient hero. i refer to the fight scenes , they are just too heavy for the scenario

    all in all i give it a 7/10

    God the UK sucks for film cinema releases. This is already out and a cinema release date hasn’t been set for the UK yet… no wonder cinema attendance is down.

    In addition I hate those adverts that say 90% of pre-dvd release pirate dvds are filmed in a cinema with a camera… I beg to differ.

    I assume the scene release will be the same though, because it is a fact there is no line audio out yet. And most of the time when a scene release comes out after a p2p release, they are virtually the same, but the scene release will occasionally have better video, and sometimes better audio, but from the posts I guess this one doesn’t.

    It was a waste of money watching this in the cinema…the movie looks nice, that’s all, the story sucked and stretched too long, my sister literally slept last hour and a half of the movie…
    Basically it was poor parody attempt on “The Lord of The Rings”.

    Yeah, I think I’m going to sit this one out… I was told by everyone coming out of the theatre that the movie was not good, and it was kicked from my theatre in a couple days and put in the movie theatre across the street (same company, just we get brand new movies while they get older ones we discard or have no room for; they also play independent films)… I think that Jason Statham should stick to 21st century style movies, but that’s just my opinion.

    I wonder how he always manages to get some -at least halfway- popular actors for his movies. Anyway, i take my hat off for he got K.Loken to show us her boobies in Bloodrayne…too bad he hasn’t done the same with goddess Claire Forlani in this one, i would have worshiped him forever.

    The dialogues aren’t smart–it’s in basic english and is definately for 9 yr olds. NO blood and gore makes this movie even more boring.

    First comment but I felt obligated to post on this one after a long time of lurking about.

    This is THE WORST fantasy movie ever. I cant believe statton, perlman and the rest actually signed for this. Must’ve been a really dry week in Hollywood for them to do that.

    Scenes are reused in the fighting (looks like they have like 2 shots of bad guy getting hit by arrow and use them everywhere), terrible editing and lame-ass dialogue.

    Uwe Boll has done it again, totally RUINED another game franchise by making a terrbile movie to it(we’ve all seen bloodrayne, eh?).

    Sorry, but I had to post this to refrain people from wasting bandwith on this crap.

    Also he’s making a film on “Far Cry” too! (I cried a little inside when I saw that).

    now that ive got ur attention can someone please tell me a way to COMBINED both parts of this video into one pa so i can covert it to dvd without having 2 selection because when i convert a movie with 2parts into a dvd it has 2 options to choose from part 1 and part 2 AND IT freezes for 5second when its switching parts which is annoying so can anyone tell me a way to merge them. not remake the as a new file with 2hrs of conversion just a simple merge that take 5misn if possible PLZ PLZ PLZ AND THANK THANK THANK:D

    I don’t think I’ve EVER hated a movie this bad with this many good actors who REALLY should have known better than to even to audition. I am not someone who has been in the fan world of this game. I am sure as hell going to stay away from anything from this fantasy world in the future.

    I would criticize the plot, only there isn’t one. The actors involved are some people I absolutely love. Jason - I didn’t think he could EVER do a bad movie. The only good thing from him - his action scenes looked real 95% of the time. Not the stuff like in matrix where you see neo doing something and it looks fake. His stunt people / himself were really good. The effects, well they have a lot of cgi people . They obviously spent money on it.

    The way the film is structured, you get absolutely no chance to let the characters grow on you. I think the ONLY redeeming scene in the entire movie that looked like it was well executed was right after the first big “encounter” . There is a funny scene when they arrive at the bridge. It executed well.

    Despite being two hours long, I think if they just took time to make us see the hero suffer more, hero have growth or show more of an emotional edge - and most of all - if it were longer. God!

    There goes 3 hours of my life I will never get back!!

    still a good movie though but that music gets on your nerves a bit,i wonder if anyone could help with this please has anyone seen any links for this please its a little off topic sorry about this.
