In Search of a Midnight Kiss LIMITED DVDRip XviD-ALLiANCE

In Search of a Midnight Kiss is an award-winning American independent comedy/romance written and directed by Alex Holdridge. It premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2007 and since has played at festivals around the world from Mill Valley, Chicago and Los Angeles in the U.S. to London, Edinburgh, Sarajevo, Istanbul, and Thessaloniki outside the states.

In Search of a Midnight Kiss follows the plight of Wilson (Scoot McNairy), a 29-year-old man who has just suffered through the most miserable year of his life. A new arrival to the City of Angels, Wilson ends up alone and penniless as New Year’s Eve rapidly approaches, and avows to lock his doors, pull his blinds, and climb into bed – until best friend Jacob (Brian McGuire) talks him into posting a Craigslist personal ad. In seemingly no time at all, the message leads Wilson to Vivian (Sara Simmonds), a freewheeling young woman utterly determined to be with the “right” man at the stroke of midnight. She soon leads Wilson on an eventful and colorful trip through the nighttime streets of L.A. that he will never forget – and that leads to a heartfelt emotional connection between the two.

As of October 11, 2008, the review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes reported that 85% of critics rated the film positively based on 48 reviews, with the consensus that “Funny, quirky, and bittersweet, In Search of a Midnight Kiss is a romantic comedy with a heart and a brain — and stands as a sharp debut for director Alex Holdridge.” Metacritic reported the film had an average score of 64 out of 100 based on 25 reviews, indicating a generally favorable response.

The Mumblecore indie cinema movement is totally Ghey.

It’s what Richard linklatter already did years ago. Except the characters are usually unlikable self absorbed losers. Essential cinema for EMOs who are it’s main audience, everyone else not into puerile angst for cinema.. move along.

@4 the Ogriginal Geek: – Judging by your last few movies comments, I am lead to the only conclusion that will pproperly summarize your opinions of film making. In you rown words, you are “ghey”.

It seems that anything besides B horror or cheezy action films rates as “ghey” in your books, illustrating your absolute absence of culture and very narrow mind. YOU even feel that using ghey is some form of derogatory term for somethign you don’t like, perhaps you need to grow up or ask your suster for permission before yor use her computer; does she even know you are in her room?

If you were the movie buff you feel you are, you would also know that almost all movies are variations of some premise that has been explored before, it is VERY rare for a new concept to be explored these days, it’s all been done before.

So while you feel you are being clever or eleoquent, with your immature and inaccurate rants about movies, why not just sit back and play with your tosger while letting people make their own choices as to what they want to watch.

We already have a movie review and RLSLOG staff post their comments too, yours are simple, completely useless, unwanted, uncalled for and unqualified.

Why don’t you just go scour kiddie porn until they post something you DO like, when they do simply offer a link to where it can be downloaded and let people make choices based on their own personal preference, not some narrow minded tunnel vision that sees anything you don’t desire as being ‘ghey’.

    @14 is Ghey

“Ghey” is also a term used to describe “weak”,”lame”,not the deogatory term referring to what you seem to believe it is. That term btw is spelled differently, something you failed to notice in your own ignorance while being distracted by wanking to your soap hunks nude website. Mumblecore(AKA MTV angst cinema for EMOs) or generic recycled situation comedy dramas are not about “culture” or about “art” if they were they would be worthy of more critical thought than than my previous comments. They are as homogenized as your mode of thinking. People are welcome to make their own choices that is obvious, thanks for coming to that conclusion for us,very eloquent, but there nothing wrong with commenting on the films and in fact a few of those comments have been amusing and even interesting on RLSLOG. Even by the mods.

Based on your own ignorant response you’re obviously one of the EMO F*ags I was referring to. Enjoy the film.

BTW I don’t have a sister and I don’t care for cheezy action films.

    Wrong
    http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=ghey

There’s not one instance there where GHEY is used as anything but derogatory.

If you say “no offense” after calling someone an a$$hole, you are still calling them an a$$hole and they will take offense.

Now take your small mind upstairs and wash yoru hand for dinner before your mom gets pi$$ed off.

An opinion is great, you don’t seem to understand how to offer an opinion in a contructive fashion though; perhaps high school will help , if you ever get that far.

@16 obviously needs the education but he’s probably too busy buggering the neighbour’s male dog to even attempt it.

Try reading the urban dictionary definition and re-read my first response.

“Usurping the traditional term G*AY to take the homo*sexual meaning out and leaving in the lame.”

CLEAR to you yet Douche? Try going back to the local bath house. I’m sure some tape worm action will alleviate your tension and free up some clogged brain matter. That EMO haircut is sure to attract some.
