Ladies and Gentleman, may I have your attention please! The guys from pLAN9 come over us Metal fans like a raging torrent, bringing us a RETAIL from In Flames’ new Album “A Sense of Purpose”.
From what I have heared I can say that they wont be playing the style of the “old days”, but they are definitely playing some good Melo Death once again.
This CD is already ordered @ Amazon… Will you too?

In Flames, along with Dark Tranquillity and At the Gates, pioneered what is now known as melodic death metal. The founding members of all three bands all lived in Gothenburg, Sweden and they were all friends who shared the same musical interests. Eventually, that group of friends branched off into three bands with the same musical direction, In Flames, Dark Tranquillity, and At the Gates.

    So whats the difference between this release, and the release thats been on what (In Flames – A Sense Of Purpose [2008/MP3/192/Scene]) since the 16th? Other than it being retail.

    GENRE: Melodic Death Metal
    I’d rather not say Melodic Death Metal to the album “A Sense of Purpose”, they are no longer a melodeath-band. All In Flames album before Reroute to Remain is Melodic Death Metal.
    Just now is it a crappy metalcore, morden metal, nu metal-band. It’s a shame to another melodeath-band if we start call the new In Flames for melodeath.

    In Flames went way downhill. Overproduced Nu-Metal borderline Jock Rock sellout junk.
