You know what? This was actually very good. lol.

Also, I thought the main character looked and sounded familiar but I didn’t quite know where I’d seen/heard him. Then it hit me! It’s Travis Mayweather from Star Trek Enterprise!! lol. Again, good movie. Thx for posting this.

The idea that this country was founded on black slave labor is completely ridiculous. This country was founded on the ideals of a group of educated white men. They thought hard & fought hard & developed this system. They gave birth to it. It might be broken today, but it’s still better than any other. Slave labor played little if any part in our country’s growth & development. May I remind you that slavery only existed in a few southern states, & that most northern states were so strongly opposed to it that we actually went to war with our own brothers about it? Slavery was a way for the agricultural industries of the southern states to flourish. It was cheap labor for them. Today we have mexicans for that. White people are the hardest workers, but when we can force people to do that mundane work cheaper, than why not? It gives us free time to think & further develop the world. Don’t blame us for slavery. Blame your forefathers for being so submissive to ours. Maybe the violence in black culture is some pathetic way to look tough after realizing how weak your ancestors & parents were.

Tho the title was a little derogatory………….the movie ended up being a good 1………..its really not about race, class, or the prefrence………….its more about the love and the opp. person that makes you happy……and the title was just A WAY TO GET PEOPLE TO look at it……………thats what i got out of it…….

Ps. I’m black and my wife assian and white………so my Daughters must be Samoan…………lol j/k

I am consistently amused at the “if the roles were reversed” logic of you meatheads.
Why is the role-reversal always limited to the single thing, minus all race-context? If we actually reversed the roles here it would not just effect the movie title and race of the cast, it would include a reversal of roles in history. You think a movie starring a white dude with a “through with black girls” title would be labeled racist in an America founded on white slave labor and an ideology of black supremacy?

You people are truly daffy.

Hopefully in this day an age, rascism shows its’ ugly face like this, behind the seemingly secure faction of a monitor, becaue people can’t face their fears an ask questions regarding their mistrusts. I’d like to think jus the fact that we have a black man running for president and the fact that people of ALL races would vote for him shows we’ve come a long way.Discussing things openly an getting it out there is how we learn from each other an understand what makes each other tick. Sorry to sound preachy, but I wasn’t brought up to hate other races, my children most certainly do not, an in time, rascism will be history. I only feel sad that it’s still lingering now………

What I find amazing is that so many people are bothered by this movie title, yet none of you bothered to watch this movie and figure out why this title is actually is appropriate. Incidentally, it has nothing to do with white girls being wrong for this guy or black girls being bette for this guy or any race being better or different or anything. The title stems from this guy’s phobia of comittment and he uses race as an excuse not to marry the white girls he has been dating.
