Ils 2006 PROPER DVDRip XviD-QiX
A small scene group QiX released propered dvdrip of Ils, an interesting French horror. This movie has once again fairly high ratings at IMDB and the reviews I read through are also positive, so you may consider watching it. The movie is also known as “Them” in the USA, and it was released earlier by AFO (Them 2006 DVDRip XviD-AFO). That release was nuked for hard subs though – this new fixes that by adding stardard English subs in separate file.
Somewhere in Romania; Clementine is finishing off her day of teaching the local kids french, on her way home she spots an abandoned vehicle beside the road. She continues on unaware of what occurred to it’s occupants a mother and her teenage daughter the night before. No that it matters as tonight she’ll find out first hand along with her writer beau Lucas, as they’re awoken during the night by strange phone-calls and the TV downstairs being turned on, but this is only beginning of their nightmarish night of terror as the phone lines go dead; the power goes out, their car goes missing as they’re stalked and set upon by THEM!

didn’t know QiX was still cooking, used to be supplyer for this group a looong time ago
I watched this movie awhile back. Although it is pretty short it is actually really suspenseful and scary. The only part i didn’t like was the ending, but the movie as a whole takes care of that.
English trailer : http://www.dejavurl.com/trailer/them
The most scary/disturbing part about this movie is that it’s inspired from true events.
So is the audio in this movie French or English then ? I Know it sounds like a stupid question but really hate to watch movies that are in a different language cause I find myself reading the subs more then watching the movie.
SkullBocks then you seriously have to watch more movies in another language in english – reading subtitles is the easiest thing in the world when you get use to it. I’m danish and in Denmark there’s a long tradition for using subtitles for everything except children programs – in my opinion to really enjoy a movie it should be watched in its original language with subtitles, if you need – i hardly ever use subtitles for english movies.
another language in english == another language than english
also – the more movies with subs you watch the easier it gets
pass
This one does not come with subs.
“night of terror as the phone lines go dead; the power goes out, their car goes missing”
Sound like daily life here in India!
They brag in the NFO how a different version was nuked for lack of subtitles, seems this one should be nuked for the same reason……………..No subtitles!!!!!!!!!
Found some subs over here, don’t know about the quality though (sync, translation):

LOL! @ Raj
Qwerty
The subs isn’t in sync with the “Ils.PROPER.DVDRip.XviD-QiX”-release.
Does anyone have a sub-file for this, that is in sync?
thanks in advance
John

@rickos:
Could you give me some information,
a) why it is not in sync (PAL NTSC or a fixed delay?)
b) which tool to fix it?
because I didn’t download the movie yet, but i got the subs resting on my HDD already.
Thanks!
@ goob:

is out of synch for me… anyone else have problems with these english subs?!
There’s a version around with english subs hard-coded. I think it’s goes by “Them” instead of the frencj “Ils”. I always wind up hard coding everything anyways or else it won’t play on my cheapo DivX DVD player.
SkullBocks -If you never watch movies with subs then you are missing out on some good stuff. If you like watching movies at all, you owe it to yourself to at least try to get used to it. My 10 yr old can do it and it probably helps her reading retention in the long run. Some english spoken movies I like having it on because it’s easier to pick up on what the characters are saying if the highs/ lows are too extreme.
