wii owners are not noobs. I have owned more consoled that you can count (BTW I am 31 years old)
2nd
I do vote in favour of wii (and console in general) releases
The best way to go about it (ideally) is to have the ability to create personalised rss or front page setups, allowing someone to exclude console or music (or whatever) releases

And don’t forget that Nvidia and Ati are creating the video cards for those consoles. And Nvidia and Ati is earning more from PC gamers. You know what i mean. (I mean, i hope hehe )…

If Nvidia and ati would go down, there will be no VIDEO GAMES anymore.

The PC doesn’t rule anymore, infact it’s days are seriously numbered when it comes to gaming. The hardware industry got to greedy (cough) Nvdia, and the money isn’t in developing PC only titles anymore – excluding Wow.

I’m not saying Wii;s are king, far from it. But consoles are really starting to take centre stage, and…..will only get stronger as the next generation of consoles in 4 – 6 years time, will definitely be taking over most of the roles a PC can do.

Team this up with the fact that developers only have to optimize for one hardware configuration, and this results in the death of PC gaming.

My opinion is, it’s long overdue. Companies like Nvidia, hyping up current gen technology with a fancy new name and steering consumers into buying not 1….but 3 gfx cards to run ported console games at the highest resolution – is nothing short of criminal.
