If I Die Tonight 2009 DVDRip XviD-DOMiNO

DOMiNO with a interesting looking documentary called “If I Die Tonight”. The primary focus of If I Die Tonight is the victims of police brutality and the advocates that work to ensure accountability on the part of the cops. The most notorious examples profiled in the film are the shooting death of Amadou Diallo, an African immigrant gunned down by New York City police officers, who mistook the unarmed man’s wallet for a gun, and shot at him 41 times, Nicholas Heyward, a thirteen year-old killed by a cop, and Abner Louima, who was brutally sodomized with a broom handle by a NYPD officer.

Inspired by the slaying of Amadou Diallo, the African immigrant who was unjustifiably murdered by four New York City police officers in 1999 — this stirring documentary explores the disturbing history of police brutality in America. Drawing upon a wealth of interviews and personal accounts from police officials, activists and victims, among others, this penetrating film examines the complexity of the abuse of authority from numerous angles.

The Soviet Story” is a unique first time documentary film by director Edvins Snore. The film tells the story of the Soviet regime and how the Soviet Union helped Nazi Germany instigate the Holocaust. The film shows recently uncovered archive documents revealing this. Interviews with former Soviet Military intelligence officials reveal shocking details. “The Soviet Story” was filmed over 2 years in Russia, Ukraine, Latvia, Germany, France, UK and Belgium. Material for the documentary was collected by the author, Edvins Snore, for more than 10 years. As a result, “The Soviet Story” presents a truly unique insight into recent Soviet history, told by people, once Soviet citizens, who have first-hand knowledge of it.

The US system is light years ahead of others. I live in Vancouver, BC, where it has been 25 years since a cop was successfully sued for false arrest. See below how Vancouver cops kidnapped and then beat 3 street innocent street people, because one returned to an area from where he had been breached earlier. (An illegal search for drugs or weapons turned up nothing) Not one of these animals spent even one second in jail. In fact all 6 cops received full wages for 1 year, until meaningless sentencing. Then 4 went back to their jobs.

In the US, at least some dirty cops go to jail, and victims can sue.
