Cool. I’m on it.

Just got it. Great app- does wonders when [for some odd reason] my PC doesn’t feature ‘MS word pad’
I think I might actually buy this…

UltraEdit gets worse and worse with every version. It gets slower, more unstable and bloated. v7 did almost everything I needed, and there are enough freeware alternatives that dont have these disadvantages.
Notepad++ is also a great _free_ alternative.
is this worth getting and using for php and html?

Been using this editor for years. I agree with the fact that this software gets bloated with each new release. But if you actually use the new features they add with each new release you’ll appreciate this software. Granted most people will probably never use 90% of the features this editor has, but for those that do this program is worth checking out.
Vi end Emacs are still the only two functional editors.
Dammit, why does UltraEdit have no effective support for ASP?
I use Textpad. For html, asp and asp.net, I actually like the Visual Studio editor. It aint too bad.
