Sounds like a documentary
Reminds of Baseketball / Sleeper and Judge Dredd - probably a bit too close to the nerve for some - thus was killed on theatre showings and set for quick dvd release - they did it before too Mike Judge with Office Space.
I really enjoyed this for its irony and potential future for America ( and then the rest of the world) Culture - tho I dont think it would take 500 years to get this bad.
Not a perfect film by any means but a good crack and better that many films released with an advertising budget that then sucked hard.
Quality of picture and sound is perfect - and yeh maybe this was squashed for pointing out the potential flaws in lifestyle and to keep us from realising life isnt THAT different now.
