Iced Earth - The Crucible Of Man [Promo]//2008

Yup here it is. QTXMp3 I <3 you people! Respect to tha man with the icecream-van!

Note: No Voiceovers!

Iced Earth is an American heavy metal band that combine influences from thrash metal, power metal, progressive metal, opera, speed metal and NWOBHM. Iced Earth has been known to have a volatile and oft changing line-up. Founding member, songwriter, and rhythm guitarist Jon Schaffer being the only original member who has remained, handling nearly all of the songwriting and leading the band. Current vocalist Matt Barlow and former lead guitarist Randall Shawver are the next longest-tenured members, the only people besides Schaffer to have spent a full decade in the band. Shawver, the first lead guitarist to record with the band, joined in 1988 and remained until 1998. Barlow joined in 1994 and remained until 2003, when he was inspired by the September 11, 2001 attacks in the U.S. to leave the band and become a law enforcement officer. However, he returned to the group in late 2007. In 1999 Jon Schaffer teamed up with Blind Guardian vocalist Hansi Kürsch to form a side project called Demons & Wizards and have released two albums to date.

Iced Earth has been around for so long. Apparently in Europe these guys are a lot bigger than in the States, which might be why they’re here on RLSLOG. I think it’s quite funny because they’re from my tiny, Midwestern, small town.

I’ve seen Jon Shaffer buying dragons and sht from KB Toys in the mall. Hilarious.

I’m not part of the scene- where would you get a stupid fking idea like that? and with a nick like Pedo- you must be a fking intelligent specimen yourself- do the world a favor and don’t breed

    July 25th, 2008 | 21:47

For all those who say stop posting this music, I have to say there are a lot of people on here who want it.

To back this up here are my Rapidshare stats for the hour that my links have been posted..

    Motorhead - 18 downloads
    Iced Earth - 47 downloads

I would just ask people to understand that just because you might not like something, it doesn’t mean that everyone else will be of the same opinion.

This comment is intended purely for those who may not understand that as with everything in life, not everyones tastes are the same.

The releasers at interfilm don’t deal with movie translations! There are much more than just a release group, great friendly community and some of them are part of… ok let’s stop here ;-)

    July 25th, 2008 | 22:40

    Iced Earth is solid.
There’s no Ripper anymore, this guy’s better.

There’s a plain solution, if you don’t like metal, don’t listen to it.
Waste your time talking about the boring sh*t you are into and let those of us who want it have it.
Never do I go out of my way to discuss things I don’t like. It makes you look like BDIU. Go get your damn r5s of Wanted and leave it be.

For many years, Iced Earth has killed it, they are without a doubt the most respectable American band that plays power style metal.

so many like to bash, iced earth is a pretty good band. I like the fact that they still do concept albums, which not many bands do today. My favorite was the one they did that was based on the civil war, and it was a nice tribute to the USA. Schaffer is a good songwriter and I like his fast-paced, palm-muted guitar style. I have to say though by and large I like his collaboration with Demons & Wizards significantly more than Iced Earth, I think he and Hansi bring different things to the table which seem to blend well together, making them better than they are in their own bands, though I have to say, Blind Guardian’s ‘Twist in the Myth’ did totally rock. Anyway, now I will try to listen to framing armageddon and this one back to back as this is part of a concept album as well..Thanks for the upload!!
