I Was a Swiss Banker 2007 DVDRip XviD-MESS

Group MESS pred a dvdrip of a Swiss movie I Was a Swiss Banker few minutes ago. This release is a romantic summer flick inspired by Andersen’s Little Mermaid with average reviews. The audio is English with some parts in German (English subtitles included).

Roger is a young, dashing banker full of boyish self-confidence. He has a highly successful business, muggling black money across the border for reinvestment. But then a split second reaction changes his entire life. Flagged down one day by a customs officers, Roger loses his cool and makes a run for it. His only means of escape: diving headlong into Lake Constance, thereby catapulting himself out of his life as a banker and into a totally new universe, populated with shy mermaids decked out in Lara Croft gear, and cunning magpie witches in helicopters. As in a Grimm Brothers fairy tale, Roger has to pass three tests to cast off the witch’s curse and find happiness.

    haha, it’s cool to see a movie on rlslog which plays 30km from where i live and not needing the subtitles! :-D

    the protagonist has a nice accent from the eastern part of switzerland (grisons).

    I did not like the movie. Maybe it’s a European thing? Personally I thought the movie was pure crap and 75 minutes of my life I’ll never get back! What a waste of time!

    On the upside, the locations were nice and the cinematography was good. Too bad that can’t make up for a lack of any meaningful storyline.
