Compared to American Pie by many people, this title focuses mostly on teenage audience. The reviews are uncommonly diverse – people from the United Kingdom may find this movie funny and entertaining, while most of Americans will be bored as hell. “I Want Candy” follows two hopeful lads from Leatherhead trying to break into the movies, who stumble upon the opportunity of a lifetime. Frustrated by their arty film teacher (Mackenzie Crook), wannabe producer Joe (Tom Riley) and his talented but neurotic director friend Baggy (Tom Burke) head to London to sell what they know is a script made of gold. Encountering nothing but closed doors, their luck changes when an equally desperate producer (Eddie Marsan) is willing to throw some money at them provided they nab the star he needs. There’s just one problem – he wants Candy Fiveways (Carmen Electra), the worlds No.1 adult star! Against all the odds, they manage to secure her services, but it’s not long before trouble heads their way. Making a ground breaking graduation film, including scenes of an adult nature, in your parents house was never going to be easy.

ok so i just finished watching it and it’s really bad 95% of time. boring, amateur, cheap, bad acted, easily predicatable, not funny. can’t even be compared to american pie. there are some remotely funny bits, but it’s overally waste of the time. 2/10

Most british will find this funny and entertaining……………are you kidding me?????I saw this in the cinema back in March and I and many others found it to be a load of bollocks. Its been slated by most of us british people and not many of us find it remotely funny or entertaining so that comment in the discription above is totally wrong so don’t stereotype us. We know a good laugh when we see one and this aint it. This film sucks big time. Also just to jump topics a little when are those americans going to realise that those piss take films like Epic Movie are a total waste of time and just plain stupid. If any one especially the americans find those sort of films funny or entertaining then they must have a strange sense of humour.

As a general rule, if no-one else is complaining about something related to a website, like a pop-up… chances are it is your machine. I don’t get those pop-ups, and I’ve checked my options and filters… so… looks like its your machine. Run AdAware/Spybot, and good luck!
Quality on this is fine, audio slightly less good than the video.
As for the story the imdb review got it about right; it’s light-hearted, has a few funny moments and is something easy to take in. It was good for playing poker and watching it on the side. Nothing to recommend, but a time-killer none-the-less considering there isn’t much else worth watching at the moment.
The limey aka english actors in this are appalling. It’s like an amateur movie directed by a college undergraduate. British movies that have non english actors are usually excellent, but the 100% english ones are crap. The english should remove the bug chip on their shoulder.
I beg to differ. I was laughing my ass off with movies such as Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz. What was the recent American comedy being uploaded? What’s that? Wild Hogs? Man, that show was lame.

People the ad I’m referring to isn’t a pop up window it is within the webpage it self. Its a small rectangular box at the top of the screen every time I come on here. I have a pop up blocker, Ad Watch and Ad Aware. I run Ad Aware at least once a day.
