It seems like SEPTiC is on fire again. They have released another one in a very short time after the previous one: I now pronounce you Chuck and Larry (2007). I’ve seen this one myself (I think we all did), and I really enjoyed this one. If you have nothing to do for the week or just watch a nice, easy-to-follow comedy: leech it, lean back and have a laugh!

Chuck Levine and Larry Valentine are two firefighters. They are good friends. However, Larry is a widower (with two small children) and Chuck is single. Larry dares Chuck one day to eat a dead rat, but he falls from the ladder that he was going to the drop the rat from. Chuck saves him but the two are rushed to the hospital and quickly recover. Larry calls in that favor big time when civic red tape prevents him from naming his two kids as his pension beneficiaries. All that Chuck has to do is claim to be Larry’s domestic partner on some city forms. They think it will be easy because nobody will ever know. After Chuck agrees to the ruse (though reluctantly so, due in large part to his notorious womanizing), the two men go to Niagara Falls to get married, and Chuck moves in with Larry and his unsuspecting kids. But an official becomes suspicious, and the new couple’s arrangement becomes a citywide issue and goes from confidential to front-page news. Forced to improvise as love-struck newlyweds, Chuck and Larry must now fumble through a charade of domestic bliss under one roof. After surviving their mandatory honeymoon and dodging the threat of exposure, the well-intentioned con men discover that sticking together in your time of need is what truly makes a family.

    I downloaded a hd version of 300 by septic and when I tried to convert it with convertxtodvd it froze a quarter of the way through the time duration and a pop up said access denied so not sure if I want to try again I wasted 4g anyone else had [problems or does anyone know what I could have done wrong

    Anyone that thinks that you should be shoot for watching adam sandler movies, its probably so stupid that he already shoot himself.

    I mean they are not GREAT! but at least worth watching…

    dumb question but can anyone explain me the advantages of x264 formats, will a 720p HDDVD x264 rip be better quality than the “normal” orignal dvd9?
    can this superior quality (if its the case) be preserved when converting the HD-rip to dvd? what programs do you use or is that non-sense, and the best way to watch these files is still the PC?
    you dont need to answer if you only want to say i’m a noob, that is why i am asking. thanks.

    user : HD-DVD Rips is what DIVX did to DVD -9 . The Image quality of HD-DVD / HD-DVD Rip 720p or 1080 Full HD is much much better than a DVD 9 . If you convert back the HD DVD rip to DVD- Video there will be substantial losses , just DL the DVD-R of the movie do not wast you bandwidth DL HD DVD Rips .Use VLC media player and intall a

    Combined Community Codec Pack ( CCCP ) @ http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Combined_Community_Codec_Pack.htm.
    PC is still the best way to watch these , there two standalone players ( Hard disk based ), still in beta stage.

    I download the smaller 720p rips and they fit good on standard dvd’s and watch them on my ps3 and they look fantastic, but will the ones that are 4gb convert just as good on a 4.7gb dvd as well? I don’t care about the bandwidth, i download all i want for no extra cost, but want to know if the quality will still look as good or if the conversion will keep it to fit that disc and keep the quality because i don’t want to split to 2 dvds. An answer would be appreciated.

    gizzledagreat: there are no small 720p the smallest u can find is 4.37 GB unless its an animation movie about 2 GB
