I Am Legend DVDSCR XviD-THS

Wow, this is a fast. DVD screener copy of the “I Am Legend” by THS. Keep in mind, this is NOT scene release, THS is p2p group, anyway it deserves a post. 1CD quality, enjoy it!

Plot: Robert Neville is a brilliant scientist, but even he could not contain the terrible virus that was unstoppable, incurable, and man-made. Somehow immune, Neville is now the last human survivor in what is left of New York City and maybe the world. For three years, Neville has faithfully sent out daily radio messages, desperate to find any other survivors who might be out there. But he is not alone. Mutant victims of the plague — The Infected — lurk in the shadows… watching Neville’s every move… waiting for him to make a fatal mistake. Perhaps mankind’s last, best hope, Neville is driven by only one remaining mission: to find a way to reverse the effects of the virus using his own immune blood. But he knows he is outnumbered… and quickly running out of time.

Mr. X: rls falls OOS by 500ms at 46:49 and also nuked for IVTC. The release by PUKKA is fake and only PRE-spam. THS release also falls OOS at the same time. With popular releases like this, there will be a bunch of propers, screwups, and fake spam releases, etc. My advice is to keep checking back on RLSLOG until we can confirm a release that isn’t screwed up.

    I guess a lot of people are too cheap to spring for a graphics card with S-Video out…..and obviously those people arent going to own a HDTV so I guess they cannot connect the PC’s they own to a TV of any sort. Step into this century people and upgrade your GPU FFS. I have three cards ranging from the GeForce 5600FX to the GeForce 8800GS and they all have S-Video out slots….even the 5600 FFS….and if you can’t afford to spend at least $80 to $150 for a consumer grade GPU you might as well just quit using PC’s period.

    the vdub is making my video worse any clue why? i followed instructions perfectly as well. when i loaded the original avi into vdub, it warns me of the avi’s vbr but i figured every 1 got that…what is wrong?

    this release is the best one ive seen so far.
    it does seem to be missing some frames and seems to skip, but i doubt you’ll even notice them.

    unless theres a proper.real out, this is the one to watch.

    umm just download hookah’s release and use virtual dub to fix sync issues, thats what i’m doing, most p2p release have the crop problem and it never gets fixed so don’t hope for ths to fix the release and if they do, don’t check internet for the release you should be checking gnetella network so go on bearshare and start searching or search through dc++ network

    ok i did what i said i would do a couple posts above and everything is perfect 200 5 minutes becasue i rechecked everything twice …this is very watchable…not perfect, if your some i want dvd-9 or hd, dont get this, otherwise for people who just want to watch the movie…down it!!!

    Just finished watching the movie. As I said before, I grabbed the proper posted @213. Very good quality overall. One place where the audio fell out of sync at around 1 hr:09 min. lasted about a minute or so then was okay again. The night/dark action scenes are
    not very clear, but I was still able to follow along. I hadn’t seen the movie yet and still enjoyed it thoroughly. The cropping wasn’t an issue with watching the movie. If they had to crop out the watermark to protect the source of the leak, so be it. The cropping didn’t affect the viewing experience whatsoever!

    In summation, if you are super fussy about the quality, i.e. you only watch R5 and DVDRips, you’ll want to wait. In my opinion, though, it’s your loss.

    My card has an S-Video out, but I only have composite inputs. I use an S-Video to composite cable to connect my computer to the TV, but the video quality sucks. The picture has visible distortions in it that give the appearance of wrinkles in the screen. I’ve tested the same cable by using it to connect my cable box’s S-Video out to the same composite input and the picture was fine. I exchanged several emails with the company who made the card (XFXForce) and after a lot of useless suggestions that did nothing to improve the picture quality, they stated that the card was never meant to work with an S-Video to composite cable, even though one was included and the Nvidia drivers have an output setting that allows you to toggle the ouput between S-Video and Composite (changing to Composite makes a slight improvement in picture quality).

    I find it hard to believe that other devices work just fine with an S-Video to Composite cable, but yet a GeForce4 MX440 can’t produce a good picture, especially considering how rare it was to find TVs and VCRs with S-Video inputs at the time that card was released.

    Any advice on what I can do to improve the image quality?

    I downloaded the adrive link in post 301, thanks tito. There were NO PROBLEMS AT ALL. No sync issues, no b/w scenes. Just a slight crop issue but not enough to affect the movie. But I am telling you right now, this movie is not good at all.

    What I always wonder. People who ask for RS-links, do they have a premium account. Or is tere another way to download all the files at once,

    I enjoyed the hell out of this release, near perfect quality on both sound and picture, when the out of sync sound starts the WORST part about it is clicking CTRL + K up to 5 times in VLC player, thats it, watch the rest of the movie with perfect sync! if you cant do that, then you dont wanna watch this movie enough, So Use VLC player –> wait for out of sync –> increase by 500ms with CTRL K –> enjoy the rest of the movie.

    All those posts and i am sure that few of us are sure for the quality of the releases so far. Someone should post a new topic with a final final proper release of this movie. I have already downloaded the version of @319, i checked it randomly and i think it;s ok until next improved quality version.
    Please who ever post a new release here, he must say if its cropped too or not.
    And something kind offtopic, RS accounts for example cost really less than torrents.. In a torrent you must leave sometimes your PC opened during the night for a big iso file or something like that. Do you know that you pay some $ or Euros for the us the Europeans in the Electricity company? and plus you let your CPU and other parts opened reducing somehow their “life”.. 8$/month for an account in Rapidshare or somewhere else are less than torrents.

    the scene is far more than what the wannabe elite and ubersceners want you to believe….

    they are all fighting an ego war….. why not take it from a source where it gets released first, no matter what the so called rules are…
