I Am Legend DVDSCR XviD-THS

Wow, this is a fast. DVD screener copy of the “I Am Legend” by THS. Keep in mind, this is NOT scene release, THS is p2p group, anyway it deserves a post. 1CD quality, enjoy it!

Plot: Robert Neville is a brilliant scientist, but even he could not contain the terrible virus that was unstoppable, incurable, and man-made. Somehow immune, Neville is now the last human survivor in what is left of New York City and maybe the world. For three years, Neville has faithfully sent out daily radio messages, desperate to find any other survivors who might be out there. But he is not alone. Mutant victims of the plague — The Infected — lurk in the shadows… watching Neville’s every move… waiting for him to make a fatal mistake. Perhaps mankind’s last, best hope, Neville is driven by only one remaining mission: to find a way to reverse the effects of the virus using his own immune blood. But he knows he is outnumbered… and quickly running out of time.

Update: There is a scene release: I.Am.Legend.DVDSCR.XViD-HooKah - NFO

Mr. X: rls falls OOS by 500ms at 46:49 and also nuked for IVTC. The release by PUKKA is fake and only PRE-spam. THS release also falls OOS at the same time. With popular releases like this, there will be a bunch of propers, screwups, and fake spam releases, etc. My advice is to keep checking back on RLSLOG until we can confirm a release that isn’t screwed up.

Update 2: There is a proper ReRIP: I.Am.Legend.DVDSCR.RERIP.XviD-THS - fixed sync problems & now on 1.38 GB. - NFO , Sample

Update 3: Scene repack: I.Am.Legend.REPACK.DVDSCR.XviD-iMBT (info)

Ok… Stop asking which one’s nuked, because I’m guessing they’re the same and someone just wanted a different group release… Just wait till you see a proper or something.. This movie’s watchable, I saw the preview, the quality’s not too shabby.. Both this and Jackass 2.5… Good times :D

Ive got same question as #90

When it goes out of sync at 48 minutes or so does it stay out of sync at the same rate?
What I’m asking is if I plan on watching this on the computer will I only have to get up once at 48 minutes to fix the audio? Because getting up once is not bad at all. Can anyone tell me?

(hard to write a post with the warning right in the center)

@86 If my machine wasn’t powered by a hamster wheel (I’m too lazy to pedal the exercise bike) and I actually had a video card with a tv output, I’d probably do the same. Having them on disc is nice though… and means you don’t need a Terabyte drive. I was collecting on the computer, but ran out of disk space in under a month! :|

Downloaded it now, it is a one time fix like said above, about +400ms needed only once.

Or write a batch file and vcf for nandub so it cut s the movie into 2, resync the bad part and rejoin them without recompressing the video and output with a different filename.

  44. your Sister
    December 21st, 2007 | 02:01

It goes out of sync just once but it lasts through the rest, just increase the audio delay by 150ms and it’s all good. The overcrop is probably bout half an inch in total from my judgement anyways.

HERE IS HOW TO FIX BAD SYNC WITH VIRTUAL DUB -(http://www.virtualdub.org)

So, open VirtualDub. Open the AVI by pressing CTRL+O or by clicking ‘File’ then ‘Open Video File’. Now go to ‘Video’ and select ‘Direct Stream Copy’.

Now press CTRL+R or click ‘Video’ then ‘Frame Rate’.

Now select the ‘radio button’ that says ‘Change so video and audio durations match’ . You should end up with a non-standard frame rate,. Ok now just press F7 or ‘File’ and ‘Save As AVI’.

    WORKS FOR ME!

The crop is to drop the “property of …” piece… You can still see some of it at the bottom in the beginning before it show’s him driving around town… I’d say 1/2 to 1 inch off the bottom is gone

oh…it seems that this time we are in a need of a proper PROPER release that’s not out of sync - now both of these releases are a good reason for nfo wars and so it seems that with a proper reason for nfo wars we ain’t gonna have a war probably some unknown group will release this in a proper fashion and without…

    cheers!
