Oh my lord this is a classic comments thread. The film is good but clearly the controversial subject matter has sparked more debate. I just have to throw my 2 pennies in for the hell of it.

First i have to add my voice to the list in terms of dddd (or whatever it was) WTF are you on about, have you ever seen Mel Gibson in conspiracy theory? Well your rambling is about as coherent and his in that film!

Anyway, my 2 pennies as promised. As a person of celtic descent (Welsh not Irish in this case) born in England I would say the majority of English people dont really give a damn about the separation between England, Scotland, Wales, N. Ireland and the fact that Ireland (Eire) is another country, I mean we are all small enough its not really worth all this infighting is it, imagine how good a combined football team could have been over the years for one!

The remainder though are Untolerable arrogant stereotypical English people that give British people a bad name (Brits abroad etc etc) Many times in my life I have used my Welsh heritage in favour of my place of birth as I have felt ashamed to be English (yet at the same time proud to be British)

As for the IRA, sure history is one thing and they may have been a proper army then but in the modern age their methods are outdated and unacceptable by any educted persons standards, enough said
