PFA have released the first part of the two part movie, Howzat Kerry Packers War. The story line is a dramatisation of the events that lead up to and the establishment of World Series Cricket in the period 1977 to 1979.

Plot: In June 1976, Kerry Packer decides to declare war on the cricket establishment by secretly signing about 50 of the world’s greatest players to form a break-away rebel tournament for salaries much larger than those offered by the cricket boards. The birth of World Series Cricket would change public opinion and challenge the establishment.
