@25 - You may need to restart your Mac and then it should pick it up!

Mine didn't so I had to create the network service myself!
Plug in your iPhone with tethering on -> Open Network Preferences -> Click the '+' ad the bottom of the list of services -> Choose 'Ethernet' as the interface, and name it whatever you want (e.g. iPhone USB)...Ok all that, then give it a minute to pick up all the settings and then your iPhone should be glowing a nice Blue!

If not, unplug iPhone and restart your Mac...then plug it in once rebooted and it should work!

If not...sorry...I can't help any furthur!

Hope this helps!

Well dr00n, if you tested it for T-Mobile NL maybe you can help me, because it doesn't work for me. I updated to 3.0, installed the config file, it seemed to work, but when I plugged it into my macbook it couldn't find a new network adapter...

@19

Congrats, way to completely miss the point.

This negates any need for a separate mobile broadband dongle.

@5 Try reading the article again. It lets you use your iPhone as a modem.

A - it's not for using your computers internet on your phone its the opposite, say you're out and about and need the internet on your laptop. It is quite a useful feature, especially for business users.

@19

What!?

Sooo...your clearly just thinking about your own situation!
Take my situation, I go round peoples houses and fix their computers; many of those people don't have internet or I am there because it isn't working...So this is a blessing for me if I need to access the internet while I'm on a job!

This is the best thing to come to the iPhone since it came out in the beginning! :D

So if all work.. You'll be able to do what?
Plug your iPhone via USB to your computer and
browse the Internet from the phone
what a stupid thing, if u have an Internet connection
and a computer already, why do you want to
use the little device instead of a real computer !!
People really don't have anything better to do than geek around
