How She Move DVDRip XViD-iMBT

According to IMDB, this may be one of the worst movies ever made. How else would you explain the #8 spot on the worst movies EVER list, following an average score of 1.5 by almost 2,000 viewers? Oddly, it’s not rated half as bad on RT, with a very decent 69% fresh tomatoes. Either way, “How She Move” is a low-budget Drama with no known actors. The grammatically incorrect name implies that we should expect ghetto style slang and phat ass-shaking. Nothing to say about quality, it’s normal 1 CD by well-known group iMBT. Have fun.

Synopsis: Much like STOMP THE YARD and STEP UP, HOW SHE MOVE showcases the hypnotic choreography and mind-blowing talent that make step dancing such a popular part of youth culture. In her film debut, Rutina Wesley portrays Raya Green, a high school student hailing from the projects. Her intelligence and drive bring her to a prestigious private school, but she is forced back home after her sister’s death from a drug addiction soaks up the last of Raya’s tuition fund. With her parents working round the clock to make ends meet, Raya finds herself gravitating to her former friends from the neighborhood.

—“Racist of the day”, Bleez writes, “The grammatically incorrect name implies that we should expect ghetto style slang and phat ass-shaking.”

No, the name implies what YOU (not “we”) should expect. —-

Does it not contain that though? I saw this movie and it does, without a doubt, contain both ghetto style slang and “phat ass shaking”

@ 111 LOL i cannot undersand movies like this at all. are the schools in america really that bad??? do people talk that way?”

Public Schools here can be rather bad, but it has nothing to do with this movie. America is a large melting pot with every nation and race living here. This movie is a presentation of one section of one culture not race.

The sad thing is some white people (not all) see a movie that has a black person on the cover and decide it’s a n*gg* movie. But what is not being said is some black people see a a white people on the cover and say that they don’t want to see it because it’s a dumb a*s white movie.

I believe most people don’t care about the race anymore. Most just want to see a movie that they like. Just because a white person doesn’t want to see an urban movie does not make them a racist, it makes them human. The same for a black person, latino, or asian.

There are many movies that I will not watch for my own personal reasons but it rarely has to do with race, but has more to do with culture.

The biggot comments that are posted don’t bother me because most of them are done in order to bother someone.

Nice try cd, but Miceh doesn’t know the difference between “America” and the United States. And, as previously mentioned, the movie is Canadian made. Mute mf’in point. Don’t make excuses for racism. There are already more excuses than we can handle. You following the U.S. Presidential election process at all? sheesh

These so called “pirates” posting here are kids. Watch when the time zone changes to early morning and only child minded fools not pirates will post racist crap. We can joke around but don’t be ignorant my fellow mates. This is a crappy movie but what about some other crappy movies with white actors. Where is the racism then?

RLS log should close comments once again due to stupid kids, and stupid people.

I am a right wing proud patriotic God fearing republican. My interests in file “sharing” is the same as most you. Although were I stand may be a different point of view, and we may have to agree to disagree on certain subjects, we are all equal, and all guilty of sins of any form of religion, laws (most of us were copyright infringement is a law) but should not be so stupid to put down each others race or belief in anything. If you do then you are a low life form with no purpose but to cultivate like a cancer in people around you. And my children’s Public School right here in the heartland of America is ranked as one of the best in the nation. So is our College team (BOOMER SOONERS BABY) So no America is not like that. Some stupid people with a cpu and losers in our society are like that. But to all others in your countries we welcome you. But if you live here, pay taxes like the rest and we do request you learn the language, not the Queens English but todays average English slang will do.

The comments here are so damn funny!!! Black cinema is not the best, but the “movie making system” has a lot to do with that. We’re still in an age of greasy lips, jive talk and over exaggerated stereotypes. The real calamity is the responses of seriously borderline biggotry that conincides with these type of films. In a world where the “white” power structure is really only benefiting the well to do, sometimes I feel like the average white just doesn’t “see it coming” with all this good globalization going on. Now, the faultiness in this comment is assuming that most posters of this thread are white, but there’s pretty much hatred all around for us blacks by all races. That is, unless we come up with some new trend that every other race can make hybrids of and call it their own. I hate our trendiness, but then there wouldn’t be any rock and roll or other good things.

Why all the race talk? I’m Black and I HATED this movie (Along with all my mates who the majority of are also Black)! Why are people assuming we like it? I gave it a 1 star on IMDB, and a 0% on RT! Black, White, Asian… You can be Green for all i care, nothing takes away that was an AWFUL film!

    Dear Mr. X,

I think they are upset with Bleez’s comments not yours, and what about all those “crappy” white boy skater movies recently. Yes all crappy but we were not warned to expect “totally radical, skate or die dude” verbiage or life style.

Yes this and other movies may be crap but so is some of the comments posted. And one can feel was provoked by the poster whether intentional or not. But some people ran with it either way.

Err, if anyone is still reading this (MLK in particular):

I am not racist at all. I was just being sarcastic about the name, which is obviously ATTEMPTING to sound ‘ghetto’. Or am I wrong?

About my reviews, I will keep making them, so tough luck for you.

Still, email me corrections about my grammar if you think it’s that dire. By the way, English is not my first language, but I would still never say “How She Move”.

  38. Uh-Oh!
    April 18th, 2008 | 23:15

Ricky Martin said it. I don’t think he’d be considered “ghetto”, would he? Of course not, because he’s not black.

I mean, is all just because there isn’t an “s” on the end of the title? Is that what makes it “ghetto” to you? Whatever. That’s actually how kids talk these days, and not only in the ghetto.

    Slang does not equal ghetto.
