They were about to cancel the show actually, but strike was over before that. They even announced who the mother was. But seems like there are change of plans.
It was never going to be cancelled. Try keeping up on myepisodes.com, or ask ausiello, or tvrage.. or, 1 of 100 other sites that keep track of these things. Seriously.

I’m always surprised when shows this bad make it past the first season, but then I remember that the Bachelor is on it’s like 12′th season or something ridiculous like that.
