Hour Of Victory-RELOADED

RELOADED is back with a new fresh release of Hour of Victory. This is originally an XboX 360 title released back in 2007, which has been converted to PC. All fans of Call of Duty serie and similar games will be probably pleased: the game returns to WW2, which is by far the most popular theme for first person shooters like this. The graphic looks fine, cracks works as well, so you only need to get over 5.2 gigs now. Don’t expect too much though, this game received fairly bad ratings in reviews.

Hour of Victory allows you to play a key role in the pivotal and cinematic battles from the European and North African theaters of World War II, using the skills and gameplay style you choose. Sneak into enemy territory as a covert operative, storm the gates as a British Commando, or snipe from afar as an Army Ranger – each character’s unique attributes will be needed for the fulfillment of the overall objective. Only with all these skills working closely together will you be able to say that you helped define the Hour of Victory.

Game features:

  • Three Unique POVs: Players can pick from a Covert Operative, specializing in stealth and sabotage, a British Commando specializing in the guns-blazing frontal assault, or an Army Ranger who specializes in sniping and demolitions.
  • Major Ambrose Taggert, American OSS Operative: Specialty: Infiltration – Taggert specializes in silent kills, as he surprises his enemies with a cold blade before they even hear him. Hiding in the shadows or behind natural cover, Taggert’s silent Sten gun helps conceal his location while dealing a deadly blow to the Germans.
  • Lieutenant William Ross, British SAS Commando: Specialty: Assault – Ross is a strong and dedicated soldier who wastes no time in engaging and destroying the enemy head on. Skillfull in frontal assault, the lieutenant will move objects out of his way if he has to, all the while with guns blazing.
  • Sergeant Calvin Blackbull, US Army Ranger: Specialty: Sniper – Sergeant Blackbull, also known as ‘Bull’ is calm under pressure, able to hold his breath and take out his target from long range with deadly accuracy. Bull is nimble, able to jump long distances and climb obstacles that might slow other soldiers down.
  • Full Use of Any Vehicle on the Battlefield: Use any of the vehicles you find on the battlefield to accomplish your mission. From Sherman Tanks to the Axis Tiger Tanks to the Kubelwagons, if you can see it, you can drive it in Hour of Victory.
  • Cinematic Gameplay: Hour of Victory blends authentic details and realism of World War II with frenetic gameplay. From the JU-88 Bombers in the sky to the Panzers in the streets, Hour of Victory bombards you from all angles.
  • Experienced Developer and Powerful Engine: Developed using Unreal Engine 3.0 by nFusion, a tight-knit group of developers from New Jersey, whose military shooter experience includes titles such as Deadly Dozen and Line of Sight.

    what about graphics card?

    I have 1gb ram
    2.7 dual core (5.4)
    but integrated graphics currently at 64 but can be increased to 124 will this run on my comp? ty

    i really wish you guys would occasionally play/watch/use the games/movies/apps you post about.. it’s great that you aggregate the nfo with screenshots and all but esp. for this release, it’s worth noting that anyone who’s played it for more than 2 minutes thinks the game is total crap.

    Upon release, Hour of Victory was met with almost universal disdain.

    In IGN’s 5.7 review, they criticized the lack of originality, the multiplayer portion, and the graphics, saying, “Hour of Victory is a mediocre shooter with bad graphics and terrible multiplayer”[1]

    GameSpot’s review was particularly scathing, scoring the game just 2/10 (making it the lowest rated Xbox 360 game on the site to date), and even going so far as to name it the “Flat-Out Worst Game” of 2007[2]. The game received the following 9 demerits: Bad Sound Effects, Bad Value, Busted, Broken and Buggy, Derivative, Shallow, Short, Stripped, and Weak Story.

    Screwattack made it a SAGY nominee for Worst 360 game of the year.

    Eurogamer also gave the 2 out of 10, whilst GameCentral marked it even lower, giving it only 1 out of 10. Maxim was, however, much more appreciative of the game, giving it 4 out of 5.

    1st: cause no one spoke of “bandwidth allowances”.

    2nd: cause my local providers sell flats as default, no one sane would use inet by time or value.

    thats why i thought that either inet must be much more expensive in the 3rd world or where ever, or paying that stuff by time or value must be muuuuuuuuuuuuuch cheaper.

    Even in your great country the ISPs probably have a “fair use” clause and will cut you off/throttle/do whatever if you use a certain amount of bandwidth.

    we obviously need more pc game startup companies, prefereably in europe and asia. Why does gaming suck so hard these days? This year, Fallout 3 and Starcraft 2 are coming out in the fall… if they suck I will quit gaming for the next decade.

    Yea i was just thinking we waste are broadband on this then a really good game comes out and we are disappointed lol.
    By just looking at thr screenshots i was worried about the look of the graphics.I get my broadband back in 2 days time so ill wait.till orangebox and conflict deined ops for me to get yet.

    i played it on the xbox360 , and didn’t manage to complete it because it sucks.

    @zwickel : in Australia we don’t get to have unlimited internet with any provider. The best you can get is somewhere around the 60GB / month mark for $70ish… but it’s slowly getting better. Pretty crap, hey!

    That’s why hardly anybody from Australia seeds :P – cos we can’t afford it haha

    @ 46-47 my isp in Canada gives me 60 gig a month for $45

    I remember Nfusion from a low budget Vietnam title they made. The games are what you would expect from the bargain bin. Hardcore fans of the era may enjoy it but otherwise stay away.

    Man I’m sorry but if a war game is not like Call of Duty 4 there is no reason to play it. For a war game you can’t get no better then COD4. The funny thing is I never liked any of the other Call of Duties but part 4 is just truly amazing. Still playing it and I got it as soon as it came out. Just wanted to see if it would be good and I found that it is the hottest war game ever. Come develops hop on the banwagon or people won’t play your run-down war games.
