Finally we have something good for our Rlslog visitors/users/fans. You are thinking what? A giveaway! Hotfile will give prizes to our luckiest visitors. We are planing to give 10 Hotfile premium accounts. Anyone can participate. You need to do only 2 steps mentioned below. Giveaway will be open only for 3 days to enter so dig in right away.

    This post isn’t called “Name your favorite host” or “Why Hotfile sucks”. Stop criticizing everything.

    If you don’t like it fuck off, we’re not forcing you to do anything. Your lucky people make competitions for you anyway.

    If you don’t like the way RLSLOG is run than get the hell out.

    Im not using their referral, therefore I won't get chosen so whats the point. They are gunna look at their referrals and chose a winner from there, not who emails them. Plus with hotfile's new Affiliate program, RSLog wants 15$ per 1000 downloads instead of ten by referreing lots a of people. Good plan and all but like I said, I'll eat my poo if I got chosen, because I didn't use their referral.

    Why do people go on about the 'daily limit' of Rapidshare? I can download 10Gb+ off their server in a day without a problem, i guess it's balanced due to the days where i download little to nothing.

    But really, how much do you need to download every single day anyway? How long would it take to make use of all that music/movies/software/games?

    If you really have enough time to make use of that much, you probably don't have a job, cash to pay for a premium account, or at least a bit of life outside of the house.

    I have a hotfile premium account and I love it, maybe some of you cheap bastards should dish out less than $10/month if you're going to complain about slow speeds. I get 3mbps EASY with hotfile, never had an issue. Downloaded the sims 3 in about 20 minutes. That's pretty good, considering the fact that we're STEALING.

    LOL….

    1) people getting raped by adware on rlslog need a decent Internet Security. I use Kaspersky and dont get any ads/pop ups from rlslog – dont see anything except the page, its beautiful.
    2) stupid "competition" will only benefit Martin et al., dont waste your time.
    3) Hotfile pisses off – I HATE the 90sec time wait and 1 file per 45mins is sh!t, but i get 1mb/s from it with IDM.
    4) @ those who use usenet – great speed but rls' impossible to find and a pain in the ass when you dont get the complete files. RS is better IMO.

    hotfile is fast and one of the best. I use it with IDM. So whoever is complaining about speed should try IDM to download from there.

    could not agree with you more..

    guys if you prefer rapidshare or megaupload or whichever filesharing network ur using to hotfile then stick with it.. dont hate on hotfile.. this competition is based around hotfile cause the staff at rlslog prefer to upload to hotfile

    and if u dont like rlslog anymore.. tough.. go somewhere else

    turn off javascript! in Firefox, that's under Tools-Options-Content

    in general, it's safer to surf the net without javascript, as it may allow trojans and viruses to sneak through

    Hotfile – I dislike it too, but I also like competition and choice – more file hosters means the damn RIAA and its likes are less able to pin them down. In any case, most current releases get mirrored on most major file hosters within a day or two so rlslog's choice of Hotfile isn't a big deal.

    @Vantec – As a visitor who frequents this site often I don't think it's ideal having staff members tell visitors to shut the eff up & to eff off… you do this site a great injustice. Now grand eloquence notwithstanding, the way you expressed your dissatisfaction in the comments of your patrons is disturbing. Work on your communication skills. You are a staff member of rlslog & you should hold to certain rlslog standards. I think Martin / other staff members / and visitors would agree with me on this. Fox.

    Worried about your nfo? You are an idiot then, you provide a user name, that's it, even if you only use the non login free setup, they still get your ip.

    @Fox I can understand Vantecs frustration. He, together with the other editors, puts a great deal of time into the site. Keeping up with all the PRE's and posting about them is quite time consuming. People constantly bashing them in the comments can get on their nerves, I'm sure.

    About all the people complaining about the referral link. Did they mention you HAVE TO use the referral link? No. Did they not state that "If you already have a Hotfile account you can use that one". Yes. People who know about referral links have a choice to use or not use it. People who don't will never now they used a referral link so who cares… So I understand very well at times the staff can't resist saying "bugger off" to some of the complainers.

    I for one think it was a great idea to use rlslogs popularity to give something back to the community. They do no harm by it right? And in the end they're GIVING away something. I really don't see how all these people can be complaining about having a chance of GETTING SOMETHING FOR FREE.

    Feel free to come to the IRC channel and have a discussion about this.

    And in terms of being a sucka, bear in mind that Vantec is "on staff" but doesn't actually get paid anything (lolz!) while Marty (the site owner) earns between $6,000 – $8,000 per MONTH in advertising revenue.

    yeaahhhhhh I think i'll just stick with Megaupload for FREE, where i download at up to 1.5mbps and up to 9 dl's at a time for FREEEEEEEEEEEE all i have is the basic signup account :D

    … to those who say hotfile sucks… this server is great, you can even split a file into several simultaneous parts. NO other server allow doing this, specially crapidshare, megaupload, megashares.

    there's no download limit like crapishare and speed is fast.
