I've seen the movie in the theater, and I can tell you that the way it is supposed to be is, the title "Short film (to be played before feature)" and then the short film plays, and then after it's over and the credits have rolled, it says "Part 2" and then the feature plays. Not quite sure what happened here, and it's a little annoying, but it can be fixed in a video editor.
