Group ORiGiNAL have released a proper DVDRiP of the brilliant British action comedy, Hot Fuzz. The quality is what you would expect from a DVDRiP, it comes on 2 CD’s with AC3 sound. So if you were holding out on watching the TS or R5 versions, now this has been released you shouldn’t have an excuses to watch this film. Previous release from ARSON was nuked because it was re-encode from DVDR. This movie comes from the same guys who gave us Shaun of the Dead and the IMDB rating shows that this is a movie that you defiantly need to watch. Laugh away!
Nicholas Angel is the finest cop London has to offer, with an arrest record 400% higher than any other officer on the force. He’s so good, he makes everyone else look bad. As a result, Angel’s superiors send him to a place where his talents won’t be quite so embarrassing - the sleepy and seemingly crime-free village of Sandford. Once there, he is partnered with the well-meaning but overeager police officer Danny Butterman. The son of amiable Police Chief Frank Butterman, Danny is a huge action movie fan and believes his new big-city partner might just be a real-life “bad boy,” and his chance to experience the life of gunfights and car chases he so longs for.
Angel is quick to dismiss this as childish fantasy and Danny’s puppy-like enthusiasm only adds to Angel’s growing frustration. However, as a series of grisly accidents rocks the village, Angel is convinced that Sandford is not what it seems and as the intrigue deepens, Danny’s dreams of explosive, high-octane, car-chasing, gunfighting, all-out action seem more and more like a reality. It’s time for these small-town cops to break out some big-city justice.

Agreed the movie is good, it will only appeal to some, watch and find out, even if some say its shit doesn’t mean you will. Understanding British culture helps as it does over amplify most of it (the underage drinking maybe not)

Just watched this. It’s a brilliant film IMO. Don’t listen to anyone else, go and found out for yourselves. I think it has the near perfect mix of comedy and action.

Just looking at simon pegg is enough to make you laugh, although I still think Shaun of the Dead is the better of the two.

Not judging just an observation.. That this just proves that our environment has alot to do with what we find funny.. I’m in the states.. although I liked this movie.. I think most of us here would rather watch “click” or “knocked up” or “40yr old virgin”.

AC3 is jsut the technical name for Dolby Digital, there pretty much the same.
