Do you remember Theme Hospital? Well this is basically a 21st century remake of that game, which is a game that i enjoyed a lot as a kid (still waiting for that Theme Park remake!). In Hospital Tycoon you play as the manager of a hospital and you need to make sure everything keeps running smoothly but its not going to be easy as there are a lot of strange staff and patients around! Unlike Theme Hospital there is a strong story line in which the staff and the patients get tangled up in some very weird situations. More weird however is how the hospital treats there patients various infections, diseases etc. There are a lot of strange looking machines that cure some even stranger illnesses. There’s no realism here lots of impractical hospital buildings and silly looking stuff. Its all in good humour though and as you would expect there is a heavy comedy element to this game which should make you smile at least. Even though made by different developers you can tell that this is the spiritual sequel to to Theme Hospital which has got to be good, if it can live up to that name is still open to debate.
You can thank HATRED for this as they cracked the SecuROM protection almost as fast as PROCYON could release a CLONEDVD. This will fit snugly onto a single CD, coming in out just over 700 MB so there shouldn’t be any trouble getting enough hard drive space or burning issues. I’m surprised that someone didn’t think of doing a Theme Hospital 2 or similar game sooner because it was such a fun and unique game to play. Get diagnosing doctors!
Each episode in Hospital Tycoon explores a plot involving certain members of the hospital’s staff and some very interesting patients, while at the same time challenging players to find cures for bizarre new illnesses. Diseases range from the everyday Explosive Sneezing – where a simple sneeze can launch the unfortunate patient several feet into the air, to the more rare Monkey Nuts – where patients sprout fur, climb furniture and favor bananas over everyday person food.
Hospital Tycoon staff members have rich behaviors that players can nurture and influence throughout the game. Gamers may choose to encourage a friendship or a falling-out of sorts, and can train staff to improve their skill levels. Players will also be challenged to manage and maintain each hospital, creating dedicated areas to support additional medical needs, including surgery, diagnosis, physiotherapy and more. As more patients are cured, the more players can expand their medical empire and attract new, and even more interesting patients. However, as the hospital becomes busier, players will have to be on the lookout for the spread of infectious conditions or they’ll soon have an epidemic running riot throughout the facility.

I doubt that this game can capute the spirit .. well i will definately try it out. Theme Hospital had a certain charme to it, i guess some of it becouse of the humor it had.

Hospital_Tycoon_CLONEDVD-PROCYON gave a bad review and they suck, if this game is not their style they should shut up, anyway i was long waiting for this game and i hope it RULES!.
Seeing this game remembered me of another long forgotten game, Transport Tycoon DeLuxe, man i loved that game! I’m hoping that some one is considering remaking it. Keeping it to the old style but with cooler graphics and a large variety of trains, planes, cars, boats and maps. The old game had some few problems and bugs but that never stopped me to play them (Theme Hospital and Transport Tycoon DeLuxe).
So anyone who doesn´t like it suck ?
I hope it is any good but honestly .. i have seen too many bad games lately, so i would not be very surprised

actually i am psilocybe. and i only have this problem in storymode, sandbox mode works kinda fine, but its so slow. and for u that liked transport tycoon, have u tried transport giant? pretty similiar to TT

This game plays like an updated theme hospital with the addition of relationships (I don’t really like this part but it doesn’t seem to be that important anyway except maybe in story mode. I’ve only played the first two so far). You can rotate the camera view/angles. They have different diseases and names from Theme Hospital but this game plays very similar to Theme Hospital. There are some unlockable hospitals for sandbox. I’m assuming you’d have to play through story mode to get those but the first two story modes I’ve done so far have been easy enough. Its actually a good idea to do those because they are tutorials showcasing different aspects of the game as well as show the general flow of how a patient gets examined and then treated. (For example when I first played the game I jumped to sandbox mode right away. It can be a bit overwhelming at first with all the items you can put down that have unfortunately no descriptions to them other than the name of the item) The game runs well enough on my 3 yr old pc: amd mp 2600 ati radeon 9600. If you liked or still play Theme Hospital like myself, I think you’d like this game unless you really dislike relationships but IMO they seem to add another dimension to game play (If doctors play well with staff they get work done faster as well as boost their work satisfaction/overall happiness)

Having played it i dont like the way the camera handles. The building of rooms should of been like it was in theme hospital. I just feel it doesnt have the charm of theme hospital which is a big shame
what the hell? why can everyone but me continue in the storymode, i dont get it, i do all im supposed to, got a 4-star sandbox hospital so im not doing anything wrong.
Can anyone help me, ive iso the file and done the autorun bit, everything has installed properly but when i click play game a message comes up saying wrong disc in drive and gives me link to some error code, i dont get it it aint on disc anyway its straight of the hd? what am i doing wrong i so want to play this game!!

what does that do, how do i use it? i tred and it said it ‘cloaked’ but the same message came up when i run the game

If you have the procyon release you need the latest yasu (1.2) the other versions of yasu won’t work. If you have the hatred release get the crack from the hatred folder ON the dvd after you mount it and replace the original exe with that.

I have put it the files on disc using Alcohol 120% and I have installed it, however when I run the disc it tells me that I am running a backup and it need the original. Can someone help me out. I have never done this before.
I am using the YASU v 1.2.7050 and it still wont let me play without the original disc.

this game is getting destroyed in the reviews. Anyone expecting something similar to Theme Hospital will be pissed. Also, tons of people on the official forums are claiming this is a rushed out, buggy, quick-cash-in game.

Don’t bother downloading it, it’s a shambles. No where near as good as theme hospital. I deleted it after a few hours.
Game won’t run. Replaced with the hatred file. Runs menus, but as soon as i run the game it crashes. Hope someone has a solution for this.

Benzo you’re not alone. I have the same problem, after i cure about 3 or 4 ppl, no more patients come in and the game keeps going until i run out of cash from having no patients to cure. I clicked on the objectives and the boxes are all checked and from what it seems im doing everything right… *sigh* This game really is a load of horse shit

I have the same problem with the game crashing when I start a sandbox game or any game for that matter, will try to replace the c* exe with another one and see if it will work.

HELP please!! i got the game to downloade and i can get into sandbox and storymode but when its loading a message will come up and tell me something is wrong. it gives me options to debug, send message, or close. i have no clue what to do? anyone?

Dont buy this game bugged to the point of unplayability, I basically bought a plastic box with a silver coaster in it for 20 bucks, Characters get stuck in loops, Uncontrolable scrolling… No patches available and none coming, Dont buy this game.
I bought this game a little while ago on Steam and its full of bugs. I loved Theme Hospital and still have it!

Ugh but this Hospital Tycoon!!! It just keeps running out of patients for me. I wish they would just upload a patch to fix all these problems.
Game play is pretty good, except for the characters who try to help you manage the hospital whom just say "Naaaaaa" to you. Constantly. That really gets annoying.
