    I think this release is very watchable, based on sample. But first we had nuke for downsampled audio. Now bad ar… what happened to the audio nuke?

    For those of us not in the scene it would be nice to know what these nukes mean…so if you said whether or not the nuke means we should/shouldn’t dl it, that would be helpful.

    Bad AR = incorrect aspect ratio, meaning the picture is distorted compared to the original intention of the director. This one has an AR of 2.0 (640:320), while it probably should have been 1.85 (592:320) or 2.35 (640:272). In the first case, the characters and overall look will be widened, in the second, they’ll be heightened. You be the judge if this is critical or not.

    pretty dark and faded, but’s 1,000,000 times better pic quality then 10,000 BC

    if you have to see it now, this is probably as good as it gets. hopefully something better will come along in the near future.
