Another one for monday night: Hoppet is a scandinavian drama about a boy who aspires to become a athlete like his child hero. Fortunately, Hoppet is a better ‘feel-good’ movie with some of the usual cliches. Besides, who would watch a ‘feel-good’ movie if the ending doesn’t turn out like you expected it?
Azad loves to do the high jump and holds Kajsa Bergqvist as his hero. Together with his brother Tigris, he’s separated from his family and ends up in a new country - Sweden. Even though they’re getting new friends, they never give up the hope of being reunited with their family.
