With only few hours remaining to the end of this year, group VoMiT releases a sci-fi movie from distant future Homeworld (reminded me of legendary video game, but there is no connection). This is a typical VoMiT low budget crappy movie, filmed on $25,000 budget. Quality is ok on 1 CD.

The year: 3037. Earth is at war with aliens called Mendax. They have remarkable mental abilities and are determined to wipe out all mankind. In retaliation, a military team is sent to the Mendax homeworld. Their mission: To deliver the Devorga Strain, a powerful virus engineered to attack the Mendax immune system, exterminating them from their planet. One of the team members is terribly injured when their ship crash lands on the Mendax homeworld. Will they leave a member of their team behind, or risk being slowed by the burden? When the secret of Homeworld is discovered, they must find the truth within themselves or all is lost. But how can you learn the truth when everything you see and feel may be an illusion?

    I Like that the site shows low budget movies, its one of the main reasons i come here. But why are low bodget movies always assumed to be 'crappy'? thats just not the case.

    Ooouu, bummer. I was so excited when I saw this cover, man I was on my feet sreaming OHMYGODOOHMY… HOMEWORLD!!! My single most favorite game EVER. They finaly did it Film Homeworld… wow, and wow indeed, it is something completly diferent, boring, long…

    This movie is quite ok for a low budget movie. Though probably not for everyone. You'd need to be able to think to enjoy it. So for those that's looking for blockbusters should look elsewhere. Those that like independent movies, take a closer look.

    Did just finish watching this and was pleasantly surprised, despite it being so horribly low budget (someone who knows what they're doing can produce better CGI on a homecomputer than what was in this), but all in all, acting was mostly decent enough and even though I was badly tired while watching, it still kept me going to watch through it to see how it would turn out.
    So if you have 104 minutes to kill and nothing to do, watch it, you might just like it ^^

    my appoliges to post 17, po134. I'm using the new beta ie8 and it wasn't letting me see the whole post. I had to enable compatibility mode in ie8, now i can see everything. Thank you for the links

    This movie is absolutely horrible. The acting is horrible, the directing is worse, the script sucks… Not even worth background noise. However, the video quality was great!

    Worst movie EVER. its called homeworld so im thinkin maybe well get to see some cool Alien landscapes but no, IT all takes place in a regular forest and the actors are Terrible just dont even waste your time on this one its ridiculous seriously
