Interesting new documentary has been released by CoWRY. Home is a 2009 documentary by Yann Arthus-Bertrand. The film is entirely composed of aerial shots of various places around Earth. It shows the diversity of life on Earth and how humanity is threatening the ecological balance of the planet. The movie was released simultaneously on June 5th in cinemas all over the world, on DVD and on YouTube. Released on the same date in 50 countries is a world record for any film release in history. The film is 100% free, and no profits will be made from its release or future showings. NOTE: You can also view this on YouTube, which is pretty good quality (400MB Stream).     LOL A movie about how we are destroying the earth…..How bad is it for the earth to play this movie in thousands of theaters? The gas it takes to get there….the creation and use of the electricity to upload and play it online.

    It looks interesting, but the idea that MAN as a whole can alter the Earth is not only asinine, it is dangerously stupid. In fact, some of the things 'man' is doing to "Save the Earth" are in fact HARMING the Earth.

    The HD-version is very good quality 720p, sound is stereo, but very high quality and it's a documentary, no need for DTS.

    The greenhouse effect is real, but global warming is politics. If anything we would actually use more co2 in our atmosphere. The levels these days are encredibly low and plant life is suffering of it, and im pretty sure we really need plants to survive here on earth.
