Here’s just a quick update on this newly released movie from SAPHiRE, a group thats been known in the scene for their quality DVDRips. This is back from 2006 and its been released here and there in the US during a few festivals (hence the limited tag), but if you’re going by the IMDB rating of 5.3, you might we wary of this movie.

“Set in the City of Angels and featuring wonderful performances by David Proval, Karen Black, Zack Norman, Melisaa Leo, and Keaton Simons ‘Hollywood Dreams’ spins the tale of a young girl fresh off the bus from Iowa (the astonishing Tanna Frederick), who falls in love with a sexy and promising young actor (Justin Kirk), though their relationship threatens to complicate her own obsessive goal of becoming a famous actress. The film perfectly captures the delightful and desperate lives of those chasing dreams in Hollywood: One day they are shuffling down a boardwalk with too many suitcases, and the next they are lounging in contemporary hillside homes with a view of the city. Though neither state is permanent the more desirable one fuels the dream. The story’s extraordinary execution portrays Hollywood as the fantastic and insane place that it is. Only director Henry Jaglom could capture this classic story with such a deliberate and intense style that it feels entirely new.”

    The description of this movie along with the screen shots make the movie look really boring. after watching the sample however i am intrigued. Thanks for the post.

    The director of this sometimes makes interesting films. Although I have to admit that this one sounds really boring. The same finding success in Hollywood crap told with unknowns and a zero budget.

    please stop posting this kind of movies. 5.3 rating from 59 people, that gotta mean that this movie sucks. if there are no new movies to write about, try tv shows, games or anything else. don’t waste your time posting movies that noone cares about.
