Hitman R5 LINE XViD-PUKKA

Everyone’s been asking for it and its here finally thanks to the PUKKA fellas. The Hitman R5 is worth the wait though, at least in the quality department. The image is nice and sharp and is massive improvement over what was previously available. The audio is also great and rightly so because its a direct LINE. Anyway the movie itself isn’t brilliant but it will pass some time if you like mindless shooting and such.

Update: Hitman.R5.LINE.XViD.SUBPACK-PUKKA is needed for the parts in the film that are in Russian. Rapidshare.

Synopsis: Agent 47 (Timothy Olyphant) has been educated to become a professional assassin for hire, whose most powerful weapons are his nerve and a resolute pride in his work. 47 is both the last two digits of the barcode tattooed on the nape of his neck, and his only name.

The hunter becomes the hunted when 47 gets caught up in a political takeover. Both Interpol and the Russian military chase the Hitman across Eastern Europe as he tries to find out who set him up and why they’re trying to take him out of the game. But the greatest threat to 47’s survival may be the stirrings of his conscience and the unfamiliar emotions aroused in him by a beautiful, damaged girl…

I can’t stand the guy that plays Hitman. He reminds me of Ryan Seacrest when he has all of his hair. Horrible casting… Did they even look at the game’s character before they picked this guy? He wasn’t even that great in Die Hard 4!

National Treasure 2 has been pushed back, deal with it. No one can do anything else about it. Move on, sometimes the dates are wrong or get changed, it’s just a part of life.

Downloading Hitman now, not so excited about it after all the comments, but hell, I don’t have anything else to watch.

I think this release is kinda cropped.

Cause you can here sometimes the typewriter effect for writing locations and dates/times in the movie but you can’t see something written in the picture. (for example when the train station is shown at 12:46

Of course the writting would prolly be in Russian, so of no worth but you will lose a lot of the picture during the whole movie.

Just curious if anybody else thinks the same or got some explanation for this

thx for all the links! the movie was pretty cool but it could have been way better. I still prefer the game…but really, when it comes to a comparison between the game and the movie, normally the game always wins

and by the way i visited that scene machine website and then ran zone alarm pro spy ware remover and it found a Win32.Trojan.Downloader.Zlob.aft …so word of advice, do not go to that site no matter what others say

Rich…I would not be crowing too much about any norton 360 or norton product if I were you. CERT (Computer Emergency Response Team, they have departments in almost every nation) has rated Norton as one of the absolute WORST AV’s in the world. In fact they have documentd evidence that Norton actually misses over 85% of the trojans and viruses out there. Trend Micro and McAfee were the other top 3 worst AV’s tested.

Panda/F-Prot/AVG 7.5/Nod32 were the top 4 that caught over 96% of trojans and viruses out there.

I think there will be a proper soon .. with english subs for the russian parts ( the R5 of course hasn’t got them, because it is russian audio and pukka only dubbed the englsih) and it also looks like the cropped a little on the bottom so you don’t see russian text when they say for example that he is now in st.petersburg

Love all the links thanx guys. Was just wondering whether sites like adrive, yas storage and fly upload keep track of ip numbers that download from them and then shape users who download too much.

When i first started downloading from these sites i used to get 600-700 kB/s now i can only manage 40-60 kB/s from any download. I’m also experiencing a lot of cut-off downloads as well.

Or is it that as these sites become more popular the speed slows down due to many downloaders.

Is anybody still able to download at the top speeds or is it just me?

ya storage will give you around 230-700 based on how many people are downloading, but sharedzilla!!!! gives me 500+ no matter what i loove its and their is no cut offs very stable..!! adrive is much more stable than anything else also..but not quite as fast i bet anywher from 280 to 340 on adrive, but when adrive first appeared i was getting 780, don’t know what happened, who cares just download player!…and yes they keep ip adress, it wouldn’t matter if they didn’t, that info pops up no matter what, its ust that some servers delete it, so if government wanted it all they have to do is ask! or hack, most likely ask, but if their in a rush hack, so don’t worry about your ip unless your osama, or lead of humas

Well i’ve played all 4 hitman games, had to say i really liked it, heard nothing but bad things about it though, which is a real shame.
There are plenty of scenes and storyline where you can tell they’ve tried to emulate the games, and done a good job with the little details. Only problem is that 47 is bit too upfront and violent and there’s some bad casting (FSB guy + all the russians).

As for the rls, looks severely over-cropped to me. Should be nuked imho. sound is just ok.

Only reason why parts of the film is in Russian is because parts of the film are set in Russia.

Just download the subpack, make sure the .srt/.sub file is the same name as the .avi and in the same folder, then open the .avi in Media Player Classic.

No reason for a proper/repack other than the sound, which you don’t notice 10 mins into the film.

Horrible movie. I’m a huge fan of the series of games, but this is just pure garbage. Never gets into a rhythm, feels pieced together. Downright terrible acting. Silly, fanciful storyline. Isn’t in the least bit entertaining.

Good quality for early release, didnt notice the over cropping so couldnt have been to bad and audio was ok too …

This indeed is overcropped, and should be nuked in my opinion.

I noticed it because i synced finnish subs made for the cam and in the subs are names of places during the beeping sound, still nothing visible onscreen.

The info and IMDB says runtime = 100 min, and still after I download from one of the yastorage links, right-clicking and properties shows runtime = 1:28:47. Even VLC shows the same. Is it a fault in my PC or am I missing anything? Please help me out here.

No you wont, this will just make you go to some crazy site that wants you to install netpumper to get the codec to watch it. Netpumper is well known for being a trojan/malware so you are an idiot if you install it.

National Treasure 2 is not set for release till sometime in feb as it had to be pushed back due to audio sinc problems.

running time usa 100 germany 92 minutes well this is obviously the germany one if anybody has seen the usa one i havnt yet i’ll for dvd. 60 divided by 92 is 1 r40 so thats 1 hour and 40 minutes. but the movie that we downloaded has 1 hour and 28 minutes does it show everthing that showed in the usa version or no?

Not that I really wanted to see it, I’m just glad that I won’t have to read the endless “When’s the Hitman R5 coming out?” comments any more.

As for the movie; I’ve never played the games, but I know about them and the first actor I thought of when I heard of a Hitman movie was Jason Statham. Anyone else agree?

for all of you wondering why it is cropped at the bottom, it is because it has hardcoded russian subs, which obviously couldnt be removed, so PUKKA just cropped it to remove them, a proper should come out soon, but it may not be by PUKKA. it depends on who removes the subs first, or gets a new clean copy.

and also @258 (TD)
the missing scenes are deleted scenes which count in the special features section on the R5 dvd, which were not released on this R5, again, the proper will propably have the extra 12 minutes. Although, it is special features included on the disc so it still may not be released in the proper, it is just a maybe.

sorry for the double post, but @259 (Rekrul) i totally agree, jason sstatham should have been the Hitman, he is alredy bald and is a very good actor, unlinke timothy olyphant, who was crap in live free or die hard (die hard 4.0) aswell.
either jason statham or vin diesel would have been perfect for the part, but mainly Statham.

sorry mate, but there is no full subs out at the moment for this release, there will be soon. the only thing at the moment you can do is create your own subtitles using subtitle workshop (which can be downloaded from here : http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia/Video/Other-VIDEO-Tools/Subtitle-Workshop.shtml)

but it will take ages and you may need the movie script to know what to write and exactly what time to add the subs, it could take days.

i just advise you to wait a couple of days until the full subpack comes out, or until a proper comes out because this release is cropped, so they will need a proper, and subs should come out with that release, if not, you will see them on New torrents or rapdishare soon.

Thanks Rich for answering. But as far as I know, R5 dvds are made to be a stripped down barebone versions without any “extra” or “goodies” that usually accompany a say R1 dvd. So IMHO, the runtime(that’s 100 min) stated in the IMDB page is the theatrical runtime. So why should a R5 dvd have extra footage as the “deleted scene” that’s have been already shown in the cinemas. Should’n deleted scenes make the movie longer than the theatrical version (say 108 mins)? Now hope only a “proper” will answer that.

After you’ve loaded your video file highlight it…(it’s right below menu). Then click file – add subtitle channel – find sub file and select it.
The one thing about ConvertXtoDVD I don’t like is it’s kind of finicky. Make sure your aspect ratio (in options menu) is correct before you burn or you’ll turn your widescreen movie into fullscreen.

Found a great prog to merge the subtitles into the file. Use AviRecomp – couldn’t be easier.
