History Channel The Lost Pyramid HDTV XviD-FQM

At first glance I thought ‘well it’s yet another documentary about something about pyramids’ . But when I read the plot outline, it did not seem as so. High-end group FQM brings the HDTV version, which is sourced from 720p broadcast. Fortunately DHD picked up the x264 720p version. Their release notes sate that they leave the thin, vertical 1-2px black lines on each side of the video as it was broadcasted and not crop-resize - due to the x264 rules.

Travel to Egypt and join a team of archaeologists who have uncovered what evidence reveals is the lost fourth pyramid of Giza. Radjedef, son of the great Khufu, would stamp his supremacy by erecting the highest pyramid ever built, towering some 60 feet above Khufu’s Great Pyramid of Giza. However, Radjedef’s pyramid was forgotten and almost buried beneath the encroaching desert sands and its significance to the three great pyramids was lost. State-of-the-art CGI demonstrates how all four pyramids were connected. Interwoven through the exciting finds of this new excavation is the story of the most powerful, prolific, and arguably, the most cruel and debauched of all Egypt’s dynasties.

Khufu did not build any pyramids. They are about 8,500 years older than modern Egyptology would have you believe.

No I was not. But check the rain weathering patterns on the Sphinx and the pyramids. The Sphinx head is disproportional to the entire body. Also the pyramids were built using a poured concrete method and not pulled into place as giant stones.

    RapidSnare anyone?

Hey Rlslog staff: can you please do something about the f*cking annoying spam posters who fill up every thread with totally unrelated comments? All I see on this page is spam links to other websites or unrelated releases. This type of posting should be barred, and the offenders banned. :(

POURED CONCRETE, COMPLETE BOLLOX. SLAKED LIME WOULD TAKE MANY YEARS TO SET IN BLOCKS THAT BIG AS THERE WOULD NOT BE ENOUGH CARBON DIOXIDE WHICH IS PRETTY ESSENTIAL.
AND THE SPHINX IS A NATURAL FORMATION THAT HAS BEEN CARVED TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE IT DOES, THERE ARE DOZENS OF ROCK FORMATIONS IN THE DESERT THAT LOOK LIKE THE SPHINX ,ITS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU GET WIND SAND AND ROCKS IN THE SAME PLACE.

Why it might be a ‘documentary’ per say:

    http://www.newsweek.com/id/141527

Infotainment like their previous Life After People program.

Yeah, poured concrete? no way. And they are just giant stones right? So that right there should tell you that it couldn’t be concrete. LOL
