History Channel Decoding The Past The Other Nostradamus PDTV XViD-SomeTV

An interesting documentary from the History channel that has all ready had 450+ downloads on NewTorrents. Somehow as I watch through this show I could of sworn I saw it on TV a few years ago (I remember the ‘young lion’ prediction part) . It is said these prophets foresaw the first and second world wars, predicted natural catastrophes, the rise and fall of empires, and the end of the world. From the ancient Myan astrologists to the legendary Nostradamus, to the celebrated visionaries of today, we are going to visit the past and the presents’ most extradordinary prophets and seers. We’ll hear their most spine-chilling forecasts. And observe the man who outshines them all.

NostradamusEdgar Cayce

A Kentucky man born in 1877 predicted the Great Depression and WWII, diagnosed hitherto unknown illnesses and offered amazing insight into the source of his powers.

Nostradamus is a cool historical figure, but his predictions were very vague. You only hear about his successful prophecies and he had canons of bad ones. Still, a fun documentary.

THe show mostly focuses on Edgar Cayce, not on Nostradamus

Omg, Edgar Cayce? You know he also believed that the city of atlantis would rise up in the 50s, and that the end of the world would be before the turn of the century. Also yes nostrodamus was extremely vague, if you remember the web before 1999 there were sites saying the world would end in 1999. An asteriod did come close but…. well we’re still here today…

They make people think that earth is at the center of the universe, that there is a great destiny for humanity. We are but a small planet orbiting around a medium sized sun…

@omg, what Cayce said was. Parts of Atlantis would be found in 1968 and that the end would start after 1998 not giving a specific year because he believed that mankind can change their destiny. In 1968 the Bimini road was discovered in the Caribbean, some say its from thr ocean tide others say its man made. This dicu shows an airial view but if you look at close up pics it looks man made.

The same type of show was aired i think 4 years ago by “Exposed”, how famous people predicted the world wars, the Titanic, the 7/11 etc etc. But still if you are fond of documentaries, then you should watch this.
