In 1916, Woodrow Wilson was re-erected president of the united states on a pledge to keep america out of Europe’s devastating war. The united states was totally unprepared for warfare. When america finally did get involved, they suffered terrible casualties. This is the forgotten stories of the secret deals, government mistakes, and political intolerance of the war to end all wars. This is the secrets of WWI – declassified. This documentary is a little different. First of all, instead of using the typical stock background music (a score of percussion, flute, trumpet etc military style) they have like guitar riffs and things instead. The also make use of different effects for words going across the screen which also are not usual for a documentary of this type.

What will recently declassified archives reveal about ‘the war to end all wars’, the secret deals, government mistakes and political wrangling.
