I was joking with the GTA 4 fanbotism. Actually I prefer this type of game, Jagged Alliance was great.Hope it has a turnbased mode as well.
Ironically if this is half as good as originals, it will have more longevity than GTA 4 anyway. At the very least it should work out of the box unlike it seems GTA4!
Rockstar really screwed up with their protection scheme, seems that game won’t start for many at all. I doubt that it’s a hardware problem as I can’t believe they didn’t try ATI cards with it.

JA2 = Probably my favourite game of all time. I’ve been waiting for JA3 to appear, seems to have got lost in time though. This will do for now.
Will probably buy it if it’s any good, though i’m a little skeptical since it doesn’t hold the Jagged Alliance brand.

This game is released in april(I think) in russia, they were translating it to english since then, obviously they didn’t know GTA will be released at same time.

tbh i just played for 2 mins and deinstalled it.
Camera sux big times, you cant really zoom out, you cant really set a good angel to see your surroundings, whats the point?
Nice graphics but camera is awful and the interface frustrating. It’s terribly difficult to move the squad where you want.
I remember playing Jagged Alliance 2 and loving it, I also loved Silent Storm, but this, I don’t think i am going to play it.
It is infected with torjans and it gives error during installations. Insert disk#1 , can any one got same error, how to get rid of it???

I had an Amiga and played Hired Guns.
This ones has nothing to do with it, it’s a (fake) 3D version of Jagged Alliance on PC.
I remember HG on Amiga as too difficult to get my attention, you had 4 characters to manage u simultaneosuly /u.
If I’m nota mistaken, there was another game, older than HG, which offered 4 different subscreen: Bloodwych.

Yes, agree. This is nothing like Hired Guns on the Amiga. The hired guns reference is more about hiring mercenaries much in the same way as Jagged Alliance 1 & 2 did.

I hope they’ll do a fix for the patched [1.07 atm i think] game too, i played the demo, and it was buggy as hell. Sure hope so, it`s gonna be a looong wait for JA3, and JA2 1.13 ain`t gonna keep me occupied that long.;)
I’m having the same problem. I installed the game with the mentioned serial number, serialreg.txt says:
