I loved the original highlander movie, even though i cant remember anything about it anymore because i havent seen it for probably 10 years. After four films and two television series, Highlander: The Search for Vengeance is an animated film and another addition to the Highlander series. This animated movie is directed by Yoshiaki Kawajiri who also directed Ninja Scroll, although ive never seen Ninja Scroll i know its very popular. There about about 7 or 8 extra scenes in the directors cut of this movie that were cut out of the original release.

NINJA SCROLL director Yoshiaki Kawajiri melds the beauty of anime with the Highlander legacy in this film that spans centuries. The lone warrior Colin travels with the wise-cracking ghost Amergan through the ages searching for the immortal despot Marcus Octavius, who killed his lover on the Celtic plains tens of centuries ago. On his quest, he discovers New York is submerged, and one dominant monolith fortress towers over the seas. Colin can save the survivors, but his sword only hungers for the blood of one man. Despite many lifetimes of training, Colin has failed to vanquish Marcus on the great battlefields of history. Can he finish what he started and stop Marcus? Will Colin lead the people to freedom or become consumed by hate? There can be only one.

    Listen if queen don’t play in this i don’t care Yoshiaki Kawajiri was a manga genius in the early days lets face the fact that Ninja Scroll was the best anime ever created for the western world.I can listen too queen anytime but too watch this guys work is rare can’t wait too get this thanks for the post :)

    I like the background for the highlander on this one. Even though each Highlander movie wasn’t that great, I still watched them because I’m a fan but a new movie with a good director and serious story, i would like to see.

    Well, I Dled the file (it was a .rar)Unrared it and ried to play it, but the file is wmv and the players wont work on this, then I tried the Windows media player 11 and it said I had to download a file and a licence to get to play the file, so I erased it.
    I prefer the good ol avi or mkv, or mp4 file that plays just fine with all the codecs online you have on the codec packs…

    I shall wait a while till someone gets it encoded properly.

    Well I don’t think this is a wmv file. I think you downloaded something else and some of the links posted are from a movie released by Domino so maybe it’s not the Director’s Cut released by CoWRY.

    #21 I think the original language is English so I don’t think it is dubbed.

    I remember this one. Its really like a Thriller. Cold and Dark with some really interesting twists. Abit hardore for me so only seen 2/3 of it before i went and watched NCIS.

    Highlander’s good but it reminds me… has anyone been able to find the anime PONYO ON THE CLIFF BY THE SEA? It’s the new Miyazaki movie from Studio Ghibli, and supposedly there’s a screener.

    I’ve downloaded over half a dozen torrents and all I can find are these awful overdubs of RUSSIAN over the Japanese. I can deal with the original Japanese language version (as there are several subtitles available) but cannot find the darn screener to save my life (or any version without the awful overdub). ANY HELP?
