Hide Files and Folders, as its name says can help you to hide/lock/restrict access to specific files or folders. Useful if you sharing your PC with other family/office members.

Description:

Hide Files and Folders is a great easy-to-use password-protected security utility working at Windows kernel level you can use to password-protect certain files and folders, or to hide them securely from viewing and searching just with a click of mouse. Upon accessing any protected file or folder, dialog box querying password appears on the screen. If valid password entered, user gets access to the file or folder, otherwise not. Hide Files and Folders does not modify your media: in protecting your files or folders, it just uses a high-reliability VXD driver working at Windows kernel level. This guarantees that Hide Files and Folders will never lose your data, as may happen if you use other file- and folder-protecting software.     What happens when you uninstall the software ? If it unlocks all the folders/files beforeun-installing…bingo there you go…just uninstall it and look at all that porn on your friends PC !

    What the heck is the point of putting all your damn screenshots like that? The point of the f* screenshot is not to look good but to see what and how it really is. Damnit, put your screenshots in a normal way… god damnit, when does this site stop having so much unprofessional work (not that you need to go through any class or anything to act a little bit more profesional!)

    Wrong. It’s not supposed to make data inaccessible, it’s supposed to hide data that no one knows it exist and therefore no one looks for it.

    If you want to protect your stuff from access, use Truecrypt.

    usefull tool, and it works. I tried to access protected files using Command line, but could not get past the protection.

    Not all positives are real but also not all abusive generalizations are real… You keep telling yourself that no cracks have virus in them and use your PC to make a credit card transaction and see where that gets you.

    Hei guys, anyone had problems with the setup file in avast av? Here with me show that file has a trojan… anyone else? may I disregard? download direct from original and use just the patch and keymaker?Opinions?
