ok… -_-
Any serious graphics designer has Photoshop. No need for extra software..
@5 I’m a serious designer and I would rather use this tool than fire up PS just to get the color I need to paste into css.
Aren’t you so effing 1337. We All bow to you.
My god, there are 20 free programs that do exactly this.
http://www.iconico.com/colorpic/
Is a pretty full-featured free one.
Why would anyone pay or even risk running a keygen for this?
@5
Have fun starting up photoshop/taking screenshots everytime whenever you want to get the colorcode mr (obviously not so) Serious Graphic Designer.
Awsome classic N00BWARE!
So you take screenshots so you can capture the color of a pixel? LOL…
All you have to do in Photoshop is bring up the color picker, click anywhere inside Photoshop, then while holding down the mouse button move the cursor to anywhere on the screen you want and it will grab that color. (from the desktop, other apps, whatever you want.)
Bet you use the eraser tool to cut images out of the background too.
@10, Yes he’s right. If you are into this, you already have Photoshop, meaning you already have this feature.
(Use color picker, click anywhere in the painting area of photoshop, then drag anywhere on the SCREEN to read the color.
@10
I don’t take screenshots to grab color from one pixel, i do it when i need some other colors from the same source so i don’t have to swing my cursor forth and back + i don’t work in 1024×768 or anything close to it so it’s rather difficult to get the one i want.
I don’t like my photoshop when it’s not full screen’ed.
I work on a tablet and it’s damn annoying when i miss the one i want.
I take a screenshot and crop it to the fragment which has the colors i need.
Sit down, please.
I used this to pick the colors for my bathroom….didn’t work so well.
Forgot something - i don’t NECESSARILY want the colorcodes for photoshop = i don’t want to start it up.

such simple software should be free in the first place….hehe…
color pickers like this are useful even if you have photoshop. if i need to enter a quick hex color value into an input field of a program based on a color on my screen and i don’t have photoshop open, what will i choose? 20 seconds for photoshop or under one second for a color picker? plus, color pickers tend to have zoom…
that said, this one is not worth grabbing. there are better free alternatives like ColorPic, Get Color SF, The Picker, ColorPix, Pixie, etc.
I use this bad boy when designing in Flash …
Just click and drag to the color you want on the screen … when you release the mouse button the color code is pasted in the clipboard … all color modes catered for …
Wicked … small … instant (in the system tray) … and FREE:

Virus aboard thank you
wow i been needing something like this for so long, I wasted so much time trying to match colors to website templates and crap like that.
Is it possible that someone might have a serial number for this one, so that we don’t have to install the keygen with the embedded virus ?
Looks like a useful enough app.
I guess it’s a matter of personal opinion / preference as to which is better: this app, photoshop, or another freebie.
I would still like to download virus free files from this site though.
