Heroes Wanted LIMITED DVDSCR XVID-FOSTERS

First off, the title of this movie is actually “Hero Wanted”. It surprises me that a movie starring such capable actors as Cuba Gooding Jr. and Ray Liotta doesn’t have an official page or any ratings on IMDB or RT. Judging by the trailer, you can expect a fair amount of action. Quality of the release is pretty sharp. I did notice one property message but it doesn’t look like it’s plaguing the whole movie. Check samples.

Update: The movie clearly goes out of sync at some point. Somehow, this release managed to dodge a nuke. Keep away.

Update #2: Hero.wanted.2008.DVDSCR.XviD-THS. Not a scene release, but according to the nfo, sync issues are fixed. Up to you.

Synopsis: Liam Case (Cuba Gooding Jr.) is a garbage collector — and a hero. Several years ago he rescued a little girl from a flaming car wreck at great risk to his own life, and earned a hideous scar for his efforts. But fame can come and go in fifteen minutes, and his past deeds are now mostly forgotten. Lost and alone, Liam has turned to alcohol for solace. But when Liam finds himself in the middle of an armed bank robbery, he takes a bullet trying to protect a beautiful bank teller. Waking in the hospital, he vows to put things right by seeking vengeance against the thieves that left him for dead. Unfortunately for him, Detective Terry Subcott (Ray Liotta) is eyeing him as the prime suspect in several brutal vigilante killings and closing in fast.

    the sync is unfixable not just a few secs out, it goes in and out of sync constantly inpossible to fix, so wait for the proper unless you want to waste your time.

    Use AVI-MUX GUI. Load file and click generate data source from file. Uncheck the audio box and click start. Save the file to desktop. When thats finished do the same again but uncheck video box and save to desktop. You know have the video with no audio and the adio with no video. Add the two new files into AVI-MUX GUI and click start. The last file should be both the video and audio in sync. Works for me

    Mkv is a file format just like Avi. There are a few converters out there but the MKV format is quite nice to watch. It has been a few months since I have opened one but there is an MKV viewer which can be found online or I believe vlc will play it as well.

    How does a release that is clearly out of sync not get nuked when others get nuked for typos? The scene sure lacks consistancy in their standards. Thanks for the info. Noting the file is an mkv would also be helpful as they won’t play in my dvd player. Hopefully a good rls will come out soon. Thanks anyhoooo

    GREAT FIX #36 – This movie was out of sync real bad. I followed #36 directions to fix and it worked perfect. Now Im watching the final mkv file on XBMC and it plays perfect without any sync problems. I skimmed through it til the end and its flawless.

    IF ANYONE WANTS TO FIX THIS SYNC PROBLEM FAST THEN READ #36 POST – FIX IS DONE IN 3 MINUTES

    i have jus wasted 6 discs..this is a must not download piece of rubbish..trust me..i have used 6 different programmes to convert it but it still is very badly i mean very badly out of synchronization..this should be removed from here..this cant be converted at all..wasted over 6 hours also trying..this must be a joke or a fake torrent as in knowing it cant be converted..

    corrected all audio problems in less time than it takes to b1tch about it.

    I was able to enjoy a “man’s” film immensely; guns, crooks, cops, and drama without a bunch of useless car chases and explosions. (Great opening “long” shot without a cut.)

    I used Avi2DVD and it fixed the sync problem…

    Thanks 36 AVI MUX did the trick
    I also installed Lazy mans MKV 0.9.9, Plays on WMP
    And loads in TMPGencXpress 4.0, So you can re-encode to what ever you want.
    No audio probs at all, Thank Again.

    If you dont want to end up with a mkv file extract audio and video from avimux then mux with virtualdub rather than using avi mux.
