Well… The one thing I haven’t liked about what I’ve seen of this series would be the ‘apparent’ irish accent. Though I’m still not getting bored of it. Easy solution for yourself if you complain and don’t like it… don’t watch. They’re hardly going to re-write their whole script and change everything because people can curse in a comment box.

personally the portrayal of ireland in heroes this season is wrecking it fer me…
its almost insulting how stereotypical the accent is
noone has or ever will speak like that in real life
and it isnt just the accents
the whole thing stinks of poorly written and researched, small budget, tacky crap!
heroes has fallen off!!

i WAS a real fan. so far this season i am not impressed. it seems like something happened to the writing staff near the end of last season.

it is almost like someone new took power or someone key was fired on the heroes staff. the season finale SUCKED and the 1st and 2nd episodes this season are sooooooo still in first gear.

this will be their last season if they dont re-capture the “x-factor”.

too bad. i’ll bet that intra-office politics has castrated this series. it had potential.

Personally the show is not getting better. The brother and sister (mexicans or whtever) plot is just stupid and their powers are just useless. Whats up with peter in ireland and hes stupid cuz he didnt want to find out his real identity. Also where did he get the lighting power? I believe that CLaire’s new boyfriend is the killer for the Hiros dad and might kill HRG. Cuz in the first epi I thought the killer was nathan cuz he can fly but now i believe its tht one kid. however he wasnt the guy trying to attack mama petrelli. Anyways here are some links.

Well the show isn’t really getting any better. Some awful special fx again this week, the flying sequence was terrible. They should try watching Smallville, it actually puts it to shame. Maybe the budget been cut further since last season, because at this rate we will see even less “powers” than we did in the first season! Also, if I recall, Tim Kring said Act Two would be about all new characters and only a few of the originals would survive. However, practically the entire cast has returned and only a few extra characters with the same powers as some series regulars have been added and (yawn) Sylar is back, FFS is this going to turn into Prison Break where we continue to drag over the same plotline for 3+ seasons. Sort it out Heroes or forget it!

The no 1 problem with Heroes is that they tend to drag everything out dilluting the potential for great drama. Yeah, it’s a series but why drag a plotline meant for 2 episodes over 6? Come up with a new one. Another problem is that there are too many parallel plotlines going on. That’s a great way to piss off a potential new audience. I see the ratings starting to fall as people get fed up. Syler should have been killed off in season 1.
