Heroes Of Might And Magic V Tribes Of The East-PROCYON
I personally didn’t like the fifth part of legendary Heroes of Might and Magic saga, but this doesn’t change anything on fact that group PROCYON brings us a new expansion pack for HOMAM 5 called Tribes of the East. It would be a huge surprise for me to see something revolutionary in this new datadisc, because the game principles haven’t changed since the beginning. The move to Russian developer (Nival Interactive) was quite smooth, the graphic part looks nice, but it doesn’t have its charm anymore and I often felt little lost because of the 3D camera. Tribes of The East underwent through a massive closed beta testing, which was also a reason for 2 or 3 week delay in release date. Anyway, there’s only serial to put during the installation and you don’t need the original game, so you shouldn’t have any problems running this title…
For the first time, play as the Orc faction and recruit heroes, build armies and manage cities as you explore and conquer legendary lands. Use tactics, skills and magic to outsmart fantasy armies while developing your heroes and unveiling the dark plot that threatens to tear the world of Ashan apart.
Heroes of Might & Magic® V: Tribes of the East chronicles the final chapter in the epic struggle that began with the interrupted wedding of Queen Isabel. Players will follow the steps of the Necrolord Arantir as he uncovers the prophecy of the Dark Messiah of Might and Magic(TM) and exposes the Demon Sovereign’s conspiracy.

I was waiting for this release.
Big fan of the HOMM genre since it’s beginnings so long ago.
And yes the fifth part in this series is more about good looking graphics but they got lost in the User Interface and control.
But in the end I still enjoyed playing HOMM V and I hope they improved on their User Interface making this game top notch again.
I only wish that more companies would follow the actions of this company and postpone their game releases to make sure what they release is good so less patches need to be releases. Heck for that matter most release groups could do with a lot of checking and not have the urge to be the first to have something released with huge mistakes. Not working cracks, poorly compiled cracks or no cracks at all. But that’s my humble opinion.

This is called standalone meaning you dont need hommV installed. But does this contain all the campaigns and features of the original? What about the hammers of fate expansion ? Can you even install it on this or is that content also included ?

Tribes of the East is a standalone game. You do not need the original or Hammers of Fate to play. You can play any faction. However, you will not be able to access the maps/campaigns from the original game or Hammers of Fate.
I have played the DEMO, and the ORCS look ridiculous, i hope the graphichs looks better in the final version.
The story in sucks in 1st and 2nd HeroesV, i hope this ending will have more sense.
Anyway, i’m a fan Heroes so i will play this one.

After installation i played the campaign about 2 hours and saved – both quick and normal save. The game wont restart again,hehe…. It hangs in the ubisoft intro lol.If i quickly bypass the intro it hangs on the main menu page without animation. Any ideas?(dont tell me wait for a proper crack as
i know this plz).If it helps installer didnt ask for serial anywhere.I already have homm5 and hof expansion in here too.

for me the game stucks on the first campaign first story (rage…)
and it does that halfway when some knights appear on the far left corner just after finishing my turn. it zooms on my hero, and stays there with the hourglass on.everytime the same thing at the same point.i have the latest nvidia drivers.
by the way installer didn’t ask for any serial either.

hey guys need help over here, i downloaded the game and 4 no reason i can c it wouldn’t extract it from the rar …
it say’s after the extraction got 2 100% that the file is in an unknown format or damaged. i don’t have the will 2 start download it 4 the second time so can any of u help me? i sure as hell appriciate it.
by the way i’ve finished all of the games and expansions of heroes including 1 (the legendary) and the endless 3,without mention the 5 and hof. hope u can help me bye

Does anyone know of a new crack? and about the serial not being insterted? + it crashes on startup splash screen with error, but cant see what error it is?

- not a bad game at all .. solid game play and no technical problems (for me anywayz)
– the single player campaign is linear though; you can’t choose what race/faction you want to play
– sand box play is decent, except (might not have played enough to see if this is true or not yet) when playing a random map i couldn’t choose what races/factions to play against or change any of their parameters
– some spells/items could’ve used a bit more detail in explaining their effects ect. without going to the manual or a 3rd party.
– only problem i found was with combat mode when having a melee class attacking the front gate area, it took careful positioning to avoid moving the troop stack onto the side defences when attacking an enemy troop stack; they would lose their turn due to the damage
– there is a map editor
– if you like turn based games, you’ll like this

Unfortunately for me whenever I attempt to install the game, after mounting it with the latest version of DT lite, I get an error around 88% saying something in the common data files. Any ideas?
I installed it with disk, no serial required but when i start it it fades to black, goes to the spash screen and then shows an error message "You can't run game and editor or two instances of any of them at the same time". it could be the os as i'm running windows 7 but i think it should work. if anyone can help please feel free to.
