Heroes of Might and Magic 5 patch: now cracked
There’s new cracked version of first patch for Heroes of Might and Magic V from Ubisoft. This patch is bringing the US and all European editions of the recent medieval fantasy 3D turn-based strategy sequel by Nival Interactive to version 1.1. This update adds an Easy diifficulty level, an auto-patcher, and a long list of gameplay tweaks, bug fixes and other changes as detailed in the accompanying release notes. It’s really recommended to install this v1.1 patch because the amount of fixes is enormous. You can check out the complete changelog including all changes here.
This new release I’m writing about includes only .EXE files, because the size of crack is over 50 MB and you can get it on every gaming server, so it would be useless to include it in this cracked version and increase the size. The funny part of this release is that it wasn’t much cracked at all. Guys from Unleashed just discovered that russian version of HOMAM 5 wasn’t protected by SecuROM 7 as every other version, while the file is exactly same. It was tested on EU and also US version, so you don’t have to worry about functionality. NFO also includes interesting note about websites providing cracks, aiming probably to gamecopyworld.com and some others:
Note to all those lame webpages which benefit from the scene, at least you can respect our work and offer this file as it is. Do not alter anything at all, nor don’t remove the nfo or other files included. We do this for fun and definitely not to help webpages, who get over 100.000 of visitors a day, so they can make huge profit!

I can’t install the patch v1.1…When i run the installation program i get an error message ‘Heroes V is not installed. Patch cannot be applied’. Maybe the patch installer detects that i’m running a cracked version?
Install European Collector’s Edition patch – that should do the trick.
Oh, and both patch and new exe will try to call home. Use a good firewall.

Hey unleashed, if you actually CRACKED this game I’d be with you, but since you did nothing more than pull the exe off the russia version, GO SCREW YOURSELVES.
You don’t want your crack on sites? Don’t release it. And for the record, gamecopy world doesn’t mess with files, it leaves the nfos intact, they just don’t include say the actual update files, just the crack or mini image.
So i doubt that those remarks were directed at gamecopyworld.
In the dox scene inclueded patchs are rare to find these days.
since smaller files are easier to spread…
And updates have mostly just gotten too big (see BF2 1.3Full)

eveyone who gets “heroes of might magic 1.1 patch not installed” error.. I got this error too. The trick is, there are three different patches (on english), 1-european collectors edition, 2-united states, 3-european (only)…. you must download patch for yours.. it works on cracked versions.. mine is european (only), i think cracked all versions are european too… here is link for patches: http://www.celestialheavens.com/viewpage.php?id=546 . there is a key that you can find your version.. for exm: mine is European …

I am having problems with it freezing and getting a XP bug manager. this happends when i go to single player and try to start the first mission. ANY help with this I would be greatly Thankful For.
I “cracked” the SETUP of Heroes of Might and Magic 5 patch 1.3 (does not check version).
It’s very simple to do, first download patch 1.3 and have to extract all files of the executable with WinRar or another similar program, then when the extracted folder Disk1 is ready you have to change the setup.inx to another, in my case I replaced the setup.inx of Heroes of Might and Magic 5 DEMO.

surprisingly works!! the patch don’t say “Heroes.. not installed”, only you have to accept a few “errors” and will be ready to normally install into an specified folder.
before you do that, you MUST install patch 1.1 soon 1.2 and finally 1.3.
Always replacing the same setup.inx of the demo, but this has a small problem, when you install patch 1.1 you can’t install 1.2 so you have to delete the hidden folder InstallShield Installation Information located in “C:\Program Files\ (default).
