Because while the supernatural doesn’t exist, people who trust magic more than science do. The US is starting to fall behind because the public is terrified of scientific advance, and thinks that disease can be cured by icons and prayer. They’ll let their kids suffer and die, and even force that suffering onto strangers, because they’re so sure these kinds of things are real. That’s why a movie that mocks people who actually take the time to investigate supposed miracles, and discover they’re ‘all’ just placebo and lies, is galling.

jeez why in hell do the xtians try and hide their beliefs. I unnerstand they’re desperate to drag some more unquestioning 10 per centers down to their smarmy mouthed god botherer but the chances of getting one outta this forum that lives close enough to get brownie points from their vicar is slimmer than the odds of em having a life after death, that is non existent.

If this movie’s promo said “god bothering plot only xtians will be interested”, fair enough but it doesn’t. Yet that is the only people who could be interested in the ploddingly predictable plot.
these ninnies who claim to believe this is a great movie, yet deny that they are xtian would be wise to confine their evangelical efforts to to the intellectually disabled, since NE1 else is gonna see thru em quick smart.
Lyin yer way into god’s good books? that’s hardly xtian LOL.
Nauh I forgot xtians have always lied to spread their superstition, when that hasn’t worked, they murder.

Nice mob. Practically every other religion keeps to itself; proselytising is not part of the ethos, but xtians never stop trouble making, and the 2 faced hypocrites then adopt that holier than thou attitude after they’ve conned and cheated innocents.

just like this movie and the self proclaimed non-xtians who claim it is great.

it was a good movie until the end, the conclusion was total crap and ruined the rest, too bad, cause the acting was enjoyable…
